Occupy World: The Merry Month of May
By Hwaa Irfan
Some countries may have missed out on Spring this year with a climatic leap into summer, but Spring is bursting with energy as the Occupy Movement comes to life again in 2012. Life takes courage, and the realization that we are all players in this world, for it is either that or fall prey to the dispair that follows a sense of hopelessness. It is all a matter of perception that has been aided and abetted by universal forces, assisting those who have awoken to the reality of the mass deception perpetrated since the 1970s of democracy, and liberty when “the better day” many have struggled for has only made the rich richer, fewer in number, and has enslaved the makers of the real wealth to sustaining the power and wealth of a few who care little for the rest. The very system that Islam has argued against for haram is haram no matter how one wants to window dress it!
That is the debate that has awoken now on English-speaking Egyptian state T.V., not becuase this is what the revolutionary youth of January 25 2011 have been trying to get across to the passive many, but becuase English-speaking Egyptian state T.V is only seriously concerned with events like the socialist hue of the new president of France – you would never find a member from the Egyptian youth speaking on English-speaking Egyptian state T.V unless it was in favour of the regime. With the Courts questioning the constitutionality of Egypt’s presidential elections before establishing a constitutional committee that is representative of the broad cross section of people, and then that constitution going to public referendum, Truth is finally coming to the surface amidst layers of deception.
The Call for Change
It look like May 2012, is going to be a month to be remembered, with signs of change to a higher ground reflected in the Full Moon in Taurus, the weekend of the 5th, followed by the eruption of a 60,000 – 100,000 miles across Sunspot AR1476 on the very same weekend with the Sun pumping out Ultra violet rays to help us purge our miscreations. As the government militarizes the U.S. as the social fabric falls apart, and its biggest bank JP Morgan takes a U.S$2bn loss that sends ricochets through the global market, Occupy London has been busy the global day of action with JP Morgan’s and Rothschild’s Bank of England.
After the plan to merge the Toronto Stock Exchange with the London Stock Exchange in 2011, and the recent merging of Rothschild’s British and French banking operations, all eyes are on the Bank of England that has its own laws, and has nothing to do with the country in which it operates being controled by the Rothschild, Lloyd’s of London, and the London Stock Exchange.
Following May Day protests that led to a partial occupation of the London Stock Exchange and Paternoster square by Occupy London and Anonymous, May 11/12 2012, was for those who not paralyzed by fear and depression, hundreds marched in London marking the anniversary of the indignados taking to the squares of Spain in 2011. They invited others to”Meet the !%” because they:
gambled with our pensions and savings
created financial nonsense to make money out of thin air
brought the global economy to the brink of ruin and forced ordinary people to pay for their mess
paid hundreds of thousands to wine and dine with our ‘elected’ representatives,
have taken more than £1tn in bailouts from the taxpayer and continue to pay themselves exorbitant bonuses
evaded billions in taxes
are benefiting by the crisis by grabbing fat privatisation contracts of our public services
In a week when 30,000 police officers came out in protest, Goldman Sachs was surrounded, Deloitte, Merrill Lynch, RBS and Santander, the London Exchange, and of course the Bank of England.
Drawing attention to the 1% (in real terms 0.5%) that only contributes 7% to U.K’s economy, is to focus on the reason why things have gotten so bad locally and globally. As meet-ups ensue discussing a better alternative system for all, it will take some time before the Truth resurfaces enough to become a visible tangible reality that we are all partners in bringing into manifestation, on a personal, social, economic and political level. The people at the top do not have what it takes to make this change become a reality, becuase for far too long they have only known one way, which to them is the only way, which is despite their blinkers is destroying or enslaving everything/everyone else!
