More Evidence Smart Meters Endangers Health and Personal Security
By Hwaa Irfan
As part of the push towards a One Government world, smart meters are increasingly being implemented in Western countries under the notion to make everyone accountable for electric consumption, whilst making it more profitable for the main benefactors within rounded scientific research on smart meters. Using microwave radio frequencies, within the short space of time, more reports have arisen.
As part of a purported electric grid upgrade, 46 million first generation automatic meter reading (for gas and water) were installed by 2011, i.e. 1 in 3 American homes and businesses it has been said to reduce the need to request entry to read meters. The University of South Carolina has found that these smart meters have been broadcasting unencrypted information on home owners. Information is sent every 30 seconds around the clock which with the right software can be hijacked to discover who is in!
A Matter of Health
One Texan couple have experienced untold health problems since their first smart meter was installed in 2005. Proven by their doctor that the smart meter is the cause, the doctor recommended that the meter be removed. However, implementing a doctor’s recommendation in this case is easier said than done.
The Texan company responsible Oncor, experienced resistance when an installer attended their home to find denial of access to the property by the couple in Sulphur Springs. Brute force was attempted, but failed after 45 minutes of effort to install an upgraded meter as smart meters have not been mandated by law.
For Elke Lawrence in Palm Beach, the issue over the installed smart meter (for electricity usage) has been the effect it has on her 6-year old son.
Uninformed and not consulted, Elke found out that in 2011 the Florida Power & Light Co had installed 45 smart meters at the condominium complex where she lives. Those 45 meters were installed right across her son’s bedroom, and a healthy son became continuously sick. After much research Elke was in no doubt what was the cause of her son’s deteriorating state of health, and by June 2012, moved her into another bedroom, away from the meters. Since then, Elke’s son has never been sick.
The population has become increasingly exposed to electro-smog, with the growing popularity of wireless devices reliant on ambient microwaves like the cell-phone, and microwave ovens. A 10 – 13+% increase in electrosensitivity has become a problem as noted by the former Prime Minister of Norway, Gro Harlem Brundtland, and retired director of the World Health Organization.
According to the 1971 U.S. naval research report entitled “Bibliography of Reported Biological Phenomena (‘Effects’) and Clinical Manifestations Attributed to Microwave and Radio-Frequency Radiation,” referring to 2,300 references, the findings included the following list of clinical response:
Central Nervous System
Autonomic Nervous System
Peripheral Nervous System
On Oct. 4, more than 35 demonstrations against smart meters were held throughout the U.S. and Canada, according to the national Campaign to Stop Smart Meters and Wireless Radiation Protection Coalition.
Instead of looking into the matter, the Federal Communications Commission health and safety standards sent a letter to Florida Senator Bill Nelson stating:
“The FCC has set limits on the maximum permissible exposure for emissions at RF-emitting devices. The smart meters being installed by FPL operate at levels that are hundreds of times lower than the FCC limit.”
A letter entitled “Smart Meters: Correcting the Gross Misinformation”, was written by Dr. David Carpenter, Harvard-educated and founder of the University at Albany School of Public Health, it states:
“Wireless smart meters typically produce… millisecond-long RF bursts on average 9,600 times a day with a maximum of 190,000 daily transmissions… People in proximity to a smart meter are at risk of significantly greater aggregate of RF/microwave exposure than with a cell phone, not to mention the cumulative exposure received by people living near multiple meters mounted together, pole-mounted routers or utility collector meters using a third antenna to relay RF signals from 500 to 5,000 homes.”
This is contradiction to the following statement by Elaine Hinsdale spokesperson for Florida Power & Light Co:
“Our meters are inactive as much as 99 percent of the time, so they give off a fraction of RF emissions compared to cell phones or other common household devices. No credible study has ever showed that an RF-emitting device operating within the limits set by the FCC has caused adverse health effects.”
The effect can differ depending on where the smart meter is located:
The government, is not entitled to emotional blackmailing us into a vaccine campaign for some relatively harmless disease until it takes on unnecessary risks like smart meters, does the homework, update safety standards (health and personal) security, and ensure that any ‘upgrades’ are up to the job with informed public consent. There is a reason why these utility companies feel arrogant about installing smart meters, and with that arrogance should come the kind of compensation that covers all medical bills, and costly lifestyle changes!
