Apple Records Your Messages from iMessage and Sends the Data to Police*

Apple Records Your Messages from iMessage and Sends the Data to Police*

If one expects to be safe and secured on the widely used iMessage with your friends is indeed secure from other people. You would be extremely disappointed in this article! iMessage is not safe or secure. But it would be like the government stated on a concrete block, “If you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to fear.”

When discussing about the topic of end-to-end security encryption, the security of your iMessages are not secure enough to make you hidden from tracing. This would be due to the fact that Apple is storing a lot of information pertaining to your iMessages, which can also lead onto the revealing of your contacts. In essence, iMessages can also reveal your exact location as well as share that information with the local law enforcement. If that doesn’t scare you, the court can order this to happen with or without your consent and knowledge.

According to Apple, your iMessages as well as FaceTime conversations are your business and not the business of anyone else. However, looking into the reports and “Apple’s Commitment to Customer Privacy” does clearly state that

“Regardless of the circumstances, our Legal team conducts an evaluation of each request and, only if appropriate, we retrieve and deliver the narrowest possible set of information to the authorities.”

Apple does also state inside their privacy statement, that they have been known from time-to-time to refuse the requests for information from law authorities.

The Intercept has received a new document in which states that Apple does in fact records an entire log of different phone numbers that you have typed into the companies iPhones for message conversations. This information is also kept along with the exact date and even the time in which you have entered those phone numbers. Even more so, they record your IP Address, in which they will be able to utilize later for identifying your location if such a need arises.

But in reality of the matter is, every single time a user types any phone number into their iPhone for direct messaging, iMessage will then send a request to Apple servers in order to learn if it should provide a route any given message over the iMessage system.

As reported by the Intercept, “Apple records each query in which your phone calls home to see who’s in the iMessage system and who’s not,”

Even more frightening, Apple is indeed compelled into turning over information to the law enforcement officials that upholds a valid court order. In general, this is usually with “Pen Registers” or even “Tap and Trace Devices” in which those warrants are rather easily obtained.

It may come off as a surprise to most that Apple, in which has self-positioned themselves as a “Staunch Defender” of their user privacy statements by “refusing” the federal officials in order to provide encryption backdoors into their own products, when they will then just hand over their user’s private information on the iMessage application.

Contrary to the believes set forth by Apple back in 2013, The Intercept also points out that the company is keeping an active log of their customers IP Address in which that can be utilized in order to reveal any respective customer’s location. Apple stated back in 2013 “do not store data related to customers’ location.” Well that turned out to become a lie.

Once again, the Intercept has also obtained a document in which was titled “iMessage FAQ for Law Enforcement” that talks about the Apple’s iMessage logging as a section of an entirely larger cache that had originated from within a state police agency, “The Florida Department of Law Enforcement’s Electronic Surveillance Support Team.”

This team also facilitates the massive data that has been collected for law enforcement by utilizing controversial tools in which includes the popular “Stingray”, alongside the assistance of typical conventional techniques such as those of pen registration and the tap-and-trace devices for warrants.

While it does remain true that your iMessages are in fact end-to-end encryption, it does not state that all of the Apple consumers are also enjoying the respective company’s so-called “Privacy” benefit.

For those that also enabled the built-in iCloud Backup for your Apple devices in order to maintain a copy of your information, those iMessages, photos, and every other important aspect of data that is stored on your device are also encrypted upon the iCloud system. This encryption utilizes a special key in which is also controlled and maintained by Apple, not you.

So in essence, Apple is still in full control over reading your “end-to-end encrypted” iMessages if they so choose too.

Even if one was to be able to entrust this company, that will still not provide you with decrypted data onto the law enforcement. As we can reference to the San Bernardino case, in which that Apple was more than willing to aid the FBI with the iCloud backup files. Anyone in which that can gain access into your personal iCloud account can see all of your personal information regardless of confidentiality.

Now, time for the good news. It is completely possible to store your personal information securely through backing up your data locally using iTunes, however this is not an obvious choice for the typical iPhone user. Another great option you can use, is obtaining a personal external hard drive, or the purchase of an online hosting provider.

However, in order to make this matter even more horrible, a recent issue of the local password-protected iTunes backup system, does provide a type of affect the encryption strength for the backup support of iOS 10. Which in return allows attackers to manage their brute force attacks and bypass the password for their targets user’s local backup.

Yes, Apple has in fact confirmed that the issue with iOS 10 does exists and that they are working on a fix that will be included upon the upcoming patch.

But, whenever asked about the iMessage issue, Apple responded by saying;

“When law enforcement presents us with a valid subpoena or court order, we provide the requested information of it is in our possession. Because iMessage is encrypted end-to-end, we do not have access to the contents of those communications. In some cases, we are able to provide data from server logs that are generated from customers accessing certain apps on their devices. We work closely with law enforcement to help them understand what we can provide and make clear these query logs don’t contain the contents of conversations or prove that any communication actually took place.”

The Syrian army and its allies have reportedly repelled a major counter attack of Jaysh al-Islam militants at the army base in the Eastern Ghouta region near the Syrian capital, Damascus. Holding this strategic area, the pro-government forces are keeping to pose a threat to cut off the Jaish al-Islam militants deployed in Tell Kurdi from the rest of militant-controlled areas in the regions. Local reports indicate, that the Syrian army is planning an operation to encircle Tell Kurdi in the nearest future.

The joint forces of Jabhat Fatah al-Sham, Jund al-Aqsa and the Free Syrian Army (FSA) have continued attacks on the Syrian government forces in northern Hama. Terrorists seized the village of Junaynah and attacked the nearby village of Qarah. The government’s counter-offensive in Talisiyah and Sha`tha has resulted in no gains.

U.S. troops have entered the Syrian towns of Marea and Azaz located north of Aleppo city, Lebanese Al Mayadeen channel reported. The U.S. servicemen are embedded with ‘moderate rebels’ from the FSA and are going to prepare the U.S.-backed advance on ISIS in the area.

The appearance of U.S. servicemen caused tensions between Jabhat Fatah al- and the FSA. Jabhat Fatah al-Sham militants called for “a fight with the Americans” and burnt several FSA flags. Some pro-government experts believe that the deployment of U.S. servicemen in Marea and Azaz are not linked with the fight against ISIS and is likely the move in order to strengthen the U.S. influence in the area of strategic Aleppo city where the Syrian government forces have recently launched a full-scale advance against terrorists.

A chilly welcome for American commandos who have been deployed to Syria to allegedly help Turkish forces operating in the war-torn country.
Footage from the border town of Ra’i showed Free Syrian Army militants driving out a group of US troops, calling them crusaders, infidels and dogs. The militants, who have been long sponsored by Washington, gathered at the town’s main square shouting anti-U.S. slogans. They voiced anger at Washington’s support for Kurdish fighters battling Daesh. U.S. and militant sources confirmed the confrontation, which ended with U.S. troops making their way back toward the Turkish border. The Pentagon says it has sent dozens of its special operations forces to cooperate with the Turkish military, which crossed the Syrian border last month under the pretext of fighting Daesh and Kurdish militia. Damascus has condemned Turkey’s incursion as a breach of Syria’s sovereignty.

U.K.’s PM Bans Ministers Talking to the Media*

By Graham Vanbergen

The BBC’s rather charming piece entitled “Who is Theresa May: A profile” sets out a life reminiscent of Margaret Thatcher, from her early days as a schoolchild to the ascension to the most powerful job in Britain. It’s a piece littered with affection and sentiment, typical of a state broadcaster.

An early advocate of Conservative “modernisation” in the wilderness years that followed, Mrs May quickly joined the shadow cabinet in 1999 under William Hague as shadow education secretary and in 2002 she became the party’s first female chairman under Iain Duncan Smith. She then held a range of senior posts under Michael Howard but was conspicuously not part of the “Notting Hill set” which grabbed control of the party after its third successive defeat in 2005 and laid David Cameron and George Osborne’s path to power.

The BBC continues with an almost evangelical hysteria, crowing that May

has pledged a shake-up of boardroom ethics as part of which workers will be guaranteed representation on company boards while shareholders votes on executive pay deals will be made binding every year.” I’ll eat my cat if ever that happens!

Even worse, the BBC story went as far as to make direct comparisons with Thatcher, mentioning;

“Former Conservative chancellor Ken Clarke also had run-ins with her and was recorded on camera ahead of an interview last week saying that Mrs May was good at her job but a “bloody difficult woman” – before adding as an aside, a bit like Mrs Thatcher. A reference to be Conservative leader can hardly come better than that.”

Having depicted Theresa May as a tough, good sort, with traditional English stiff upper lip values and a sense of social justice, one could be forgiven for forgetting that she has forced through some of the most oppressive laws Britain has seen since the start of World War Two in what many see as the start of an authoritarian leadership style bordering on dictatorship.

The Snoopers Charter or Investigatory Powers Bill should alarm us all as government agencies will very soon have the ability to not just listen into devices but interfere with them at will – it’s an extension of intrusive state power under the rather bland heading of “equipment interference”. Described as a ‘machiavellian masterpieceit authorises the state to hack our devices, deliver viruses, malware and destructive trojan’s at will. Nothing has been said of the damage that will be caused to our personal devices and equipment, creating openings for hackers to steal financial and personal data, or the fact that most of these hacks and interventions are designed by private companies and sold the government.

Then there’s all the other stuff Theresa May has forced through such as; The censoring of over 1,000 pages of information on the internet each week, introduced secret courts, proposed the scrapping of the Humans Rights Act, classified non-violent activism as terrorism, allowed ministers and government agencies to veto Freedom of Information requests, condoned the arrest of journalists under the anti-terrorism act, forced schools to hand over private pupil information and even threatened a 7 year-old with deportation. Tom Pride‘s excellent piece provides all the links for the above and quite rightly states that “Britain is fast becoming a civil liberty free zone.”

Even The Telegraph, a rampant right-wing neoliberal Tory supporting daily headlined with “Theresa May’s repulsive threat to EU citizens could make the Tories toxic again

And as our new prime Minster gets her knees under the table at No10, would it come as a surprise to learn that her authoritarian style has actually ordered a clampdown on her own ministers speaking, or even making contact with journalists without gaining explicit prior permission from her office.

The Guardian likens it to ‘control freakery’ as they make light of the alarming characteristics of limiting traditional press freedom enjoyed in the U.K. for a very long time. An outright ban has even been put on ministers having informal lunches, dinners, or a chat over coffee with friendly and trusted journalists. There are to be no interviews on the radio and definitely none on television. All such activities have to pre-approved from here on in. No10 has press chiefs and special advisors for every department of government to ensure strict adherence.

A text or off-the-cuff comment made to long established, dependable and loyal journalists could be fatal to a career. Ministers are already reporting there is an uncomfortable level of interference coming directly from Theresa May’s office, but these are the new rules for ministers and that’s that.

Theresa May has form. At the Home Office she effectively turned her department into what amounted to a baronial fiefdom that was inaccessible to instruction or even direction from No 10. And this authoritarian style will clearly be a mark of her leadership going forward.

The Observer reported that

three government ministers separately told the Observer that they found the level of control alarming, and that they believed it had been introduced to ensure the government spoke with one mind and consistently on all policy matters. One said: “Any media bid now has to be approved, any quote has to be approved, even if it is with a local television or a radio station on a local issue. It is very frustrating and there is a lot of irritation. It means nothing can be done spontaneously even if it is on subjects that are entirely uncontroversial and show the minister and government in a good light.”

There is apparently an enormous backlog of media requests for access to ministers, frustrating journalists waiting for approvals whilst stories move on.

A healthy relationship between the media and politicians is not just key, but is a basic foundation stone of democracy and the press were getting agitated months ago, hence headlines such as;

Vice: Meet Theresa May, Britain’s Blandly Authoritarian New Prime Minister

TechDirt: Theresa May Tries To Out-Orwell Orwell Theresa May: Something wicked this way comes

Buzzfeed News: Civil Liberties Groups Are Anxious About Theresa May

If you weren’t convinced of Theresa May’s ability to be openly dictatorial, you only have to look at what happened to The Telegraph when they headlined “Theresa May is a great self-promoter, but a terrible Home SecretaryA demand by May’s team was promptly sent to pull that piece in what amounts to a curtailment of free speech of the press – and the order was just as quickly complied with. Guido-Fawkes pulls no punches (as usual) on explaining the situation and published the entire text should you be inquisitive – HERE

The Telegraph piece paints an entirely different picture of our latest Prime Minster, who, quite incisively says is a

secretive, rigid, controlling, even vengeful minister, so unpleasant to colleagues that a dread of meetings with her was something that cabinet members from both parties could bond over.”

The piece went on to say “Unsurprisingly, Mrs May’s overwhelming concern with taking credit and deflecting blame made for a difficult working relationship with her department, just as her propensity for briefing the press against cabinet colleagues made her its most disliked member in two successive governments.”

Well, if anyone should know about Theresa May, The Telegraph will!

Thousands of Fake Ballot Slips Found Marked for Hillary Clinton*

Thousands of Fake Ballot Slips Found Marked for Hillary Clinton*

Prince, shown here, poses with his find, as local election officials investigate

Reports are emerging that “tens of thousands” of fraudulent ballot slips have been found in a downtown Columbus, Ohio warehouse, and the votes are all pre-marked for Hillary Clinton and other Democratic Party candidates.

Randall Prince, a Columbus-area electrical worker, was performing routine checks of his companies wiring and electrical systems when he stumbled across approximately one dozen black, sealed ballot boxes filled with thousands of Franklin County votes for Hillary Clinton and other Democratic Party candidates.

No one really goes in this building. It’s mainly used for short-term storage by a commercial plumber,” Prince said.

So when Prince, a Trump supporter, saw several black boxes in an otherwise empty room, he went to investigate. What he found could be evidence of an alleged election fraud operation designed to deliver Clinton the crucial swing state.

Early voting does not begin in Ohio until October 12, so no votes have officially been cast in the Buckeye state. However, inside these boxes were, what one source described as, “potentially tens of thousands of votes” for Hillary Clinton.

An affiliate in Ohio passed along a replica of the documents found in the boxes:

It is important to note that the above replica coincides with a ballot that a Franklin County voter would cast at the polling place on Election Day, meaning the Clinton campaign’s likely goal was to slip the fake ballot boxes in with the real ballot boxes when they went to official election judges on November 8th.

Ohio, a perennial swing state in the presidential election, has been a challenge for Clinton and her Democrat counterparts in 2016. Many national Democrat groups have pulled funding from the state entirely, in order to redirect it to places in which they are doing better.

Clinton herself has spent less time in Ohio, and spent less money, in recent weeks as it has appeared that Trump will carry the crucial state.

With this find, however, it now appears that Clinton and the Democrat Party planned on stealing the state on Election Day, making any campaigning there now a waste of time.

This story is still developing, and more news will be published when we have it.

Putin Bans Bill Gates and Microsoft from Russia*

Putin Bans Bill Gates and Microsoft from Russia*

By Baxter Dmitry

Russian President Vladimir Putin has banned Microsoft products from Russia and placed Bill Gates on a Federal Security Service watchlist.

Citing “concerns over security and reliability,” Putin has ordered the removal of Microsoft software to begin immediately.

Government spokesman Sergei Zheleznyak explained that Microsoft had been caught carrying out “minute-by-minute surveillance” on millions of Russian citizens – as well as citizens of other countries.

The U.S., which presents itself as a bastion of democracy, has in fact been carrying out minute-by-minute surveillance of tens of millions of citizens of Russia and other countries.

All the main internet companies that were formed in the U.S. are involved in this ugly story, and these companies operate on the territory of our country, said the Kremlin spokesman.

Microsoft founder Bill Gates’ place on a Federal Security Services (FSB) watchlist has also been raised for revue, pending further investigation, with expecations in the Kremlin that he will join George Soros and Jacob Rothschild on the Russian Federation’s blacklist.

Supporting local industry

Bloomberg reported that Artem Ermolaev, head of information technology for Moscow, and Russia’s Communications Minister Nikolay Nikiforov, stated that Moscow will initially replace Microsoft Exchange Server and Outlook on thousands of computers with an email system developed by the Russian company Rostelecom PJSC.

Next year, it will install software developed by New Cloud Technologies — another Russian software vendor — on millions of systems. Even Microsoft Office and Windows will be replaced with home-grown versions, Ermolaev said.

We want the money of taxpayers and state-run firms to be primarily spent on local software,” Nikiforov said, adding that starting next year, officials “will be tightening their grip” on state-run institutions that do not opt for domestic alternatives.

Microsoft did not respond to requests for comment.

Texas Prison Authorities Ban 15,000 Books… But Allow Hitler’s ‘Mein Kampf’*

The 140,000 inmates in Texas state prisons are reportedly denied access to some 15,000 books banned by the authorities – but it seem convicts can still easily get hold of a copy of Adolf Hitler’s racist diatribe ‘Mein Kampf’.

As the U.S. holds its annual ‘Banned Books Week’ campaign – an event celebrating the freedom to read – attention has been drawn to the list of the books that Texas authorities have banned in state prisons. Paul Wright, executive director of the Human Rights Defense Center and editor of Prison Legal News, told the Guardian that about 15,000 books were banned by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDJC).

One of latest books banned from Texas state prisons is Dan Slater’s‘Wolf Boys: Two American Teenagers and Mexico’s Most Dangerous Drug Cartel’.

The furious author wrote in Slate about his attempt to send a copy of his new non-fiction book to Gabriel Cardona, who is actually one of the book’s characters, and is currently behind bars in Texas. However, the TDJC prohibited the delivery, with spokesman Jason Clark saying the book gives data about “criminal schemes,” seemingly referring to an episode where a drug smuggler shares tips on how to hide narcotics in a pickup truck.

Nevertheless, “[the] TDCJ permits prisoners to read many of the most racist books ever written, including Adolph Hitler’s ‘Mein Kampf’ and David Duke’s ‘My Awakening’,” he wrote.

Wright says that when a book goes on the list, it never comes off.

Slater, meanwhile, told the Guardian that the system is “aggressive and arbitrary.”

He notes, for instance, that many books containing prison rape are prohibited, but not Stephen King’s ‘Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption’, which has an episode in which a prisoner is sexually assaulted.

Also, many books with containing the word ‘n*gger’ made it to the ‘black list’, among them books by such prominent, award-winning authors as Langston Hughes, Noam Chomsky, Philip Roth, and Salman Rushdie – but Hitler’s anti-Semitic rant and Duke’s ‘My Awakenings’ (branded a “minor-league Mein Kampf” by some) weren’t banned.

In 2011, a report by the Texas Civil Rights Project indicated that books can be banned from local prison facilities for six reasons, among them “sexually explicit images,” encouragement of “deviant criminal sexual behaviour,” and information on“criminal schemes.”

Protests over Secret Jordan-Israel Gas Deal*

Protests over Secret Jordan-Israel Gas Deal*

Around 2,000 protest in the capital, Amman

By Mel Plant

Thousands of protesters swamped the centre of Amman on Friday to demonstrate against the behind-closed-doors signing of an energy deal to bring Israeli gas into Jordan – a move condemned by opponents as a sop to the “Zionist entity” and against Jordanian interests.

Crowds chanted “Raise your voice in Amman” and “the people want national dignity” in protest at the government over the deal, in a demonstration titled “The enemy’s gas is occupation”.

An estimated 2,000 people took part in the peaceful demonstration, which was closed down by police after about half an hour.

The protest follows the signing this week of a deal to import natural gas from the Leviathan field off the coast of Israel between Jordanian National Electric Power Company (NEPCO) and the U.S.-owned Noble Energy, which is a majority partner in extraction.

The “National Campaign to Overturn the Gas Deal with the Zionist Entity”, a broad coalition of civil society groups, activists, lawyers and political groups, is stepping up efforts to protest the agreement despite its finalisation.

Aside from protests, the coalition has also convened a “people’s court” with the purpose of mobilising lawyers to protest the deal on a legal basis.

The group’s campaign slogan, “the enemy’s gas is occupation”, has rapidly spread through Jordanian social media. At a protest outside the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources in Amman this Tuesday, Middle East Eye talked to Khaled, a member of the campaign and organiser of the demonstration.

“The government is blurring things out and hasn’t been straight since the beginning,” he said. “Its response is that there is no substitute for the gas – but there are many other sources.”

The campaign accuses the government of undemocratic practices. While parliament voted against the deal in December 2014, it was approved in the period before this month’s election when parliament was dissolved.

Members of the public were also not consulted on the matter, though a poll by Nabd al-Balad found that 90% of respondents rejected the deal.

Hisham Bustani, a member of the campaign and writer for 7iber, described the secrecy surrounding the deal to Middle East Eye. The campaign submitted a freedom of information request to see the agreement. The government responded saying that the deal is “secret”.

It has yet to make a public statement about the deal.

We learned about the deal being signed through international media,” said Bustani.

“The government prefers to be an agent for outside capital instead of developing the country and maintaining sovereignty.”

With the country flooded with U.S. aid, Bustani pointed towards U.S. pressure and government, as opposed to national, interests as reasons behind the deal.

“There is some sort of corruption going on,” he said, adding that the price of the Israeli gas is higher than market price – and higher than that which Jordan already imports from Shell to Aqaba.

A private matter

While NEPCO is technically a private company, it is wholly owned by the government.

Khaled, the protest organiser, said:

“They state that because it is a private company they don’t need to go through the government.

“There is a clause in the Jordanian law that states if the deal affects the Jordanian public or Jordanian sovereignty, it must go through judicial and parliamentary roots.”

Jordanian MP Ahmad al-Armouti stated “the government does not have the right to sign any agreement contrary to the law or the constitution”.

MPs from a variety of different political backgrounds have spoken out against the deal, saying that “normalisation is unacceptable in all its forms”.

The campaign estimates that 56% of the deal ($5.6bn) and an estimated 40% of electricity bills paid by Jordanian households will go directly into Israeli government coffers.

Rania, who joined Tuesday’s protest, said “the deal was signed to normalise Israel more in the region and to make us more dependent on Israel.”

Another protestor said signing “makes us a political ally of Israel… We refuse to be part of passing money to the occupation and killing our Palestinian brothers and sisters.

“This is a milestone and some may argue that it’s worse than Oslo or the peace agreement between Jordan and Israel,” commented Khaled.

“The whole point of this deal… is enforcing normalisation so the thought of resistance, whether it’s peaceful, economic resistance… or cultural boycott is removed from the Jordanian individual’s mindset.”

MEE / Mel Plant

Objectors note the disparity between how many Jordanians see Israel as an “enemy state” due to its occupation of Palestine, and the Jordanian government’s military, diplomatic and economic cooperation with Israel after the Wadi Araba agreement (1994).

Denying the right to resistance

The Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement is prevalent in Jordan. BDS Jordan stated that the “agreement blatantly ignores the will of the Jordanian people”.

Khaled explained that while, before the deal, citizens were able to personally decide whether to “normalise” relations with Israel – by not buying imported fruits or vegetables, for example – now, “there is no choice. [The Jordanian citizen] is dependent. In this way, we feel it is a form of occupation”.

Opponents have highlighted the various alternatives, especially as gas already accounts for 85% of Jordan’s energy supply.

While the government predicts a growing demand of six to seven percent per year for energy production, currently the import of liquified natural gas to the Red Sea port of Aqaba sees a surplus which is re-exported to Iraq, Egypt and Jericho, West Bank.

Deals with Qatar (which has a larger supply than Israel) and Algeria for natural gas are also in the works, as is a planned pipeline from Basra, which would supply natural gas and oil to Jordan and Egypt.

Those seeking alternatives to Israeli gas, which the government claims will save it $600m per year, note Jordan’s native shale reserves, the fourth largest in the world, as well as opportunities within renewable energy.

An economic folly

Safaa’ al-Jayoussi, an environmental activist and head of the Climate and Energy Campaign, notes that “the gas deal is another example of the government putting money and efforts in the wrong place”.

“The Jordanian energy crisis is a crisis of ignorance. We have an energy sovereignty problem and instead of solving it by generating electricity from Jordan itself, we are moving from one country to another in order to import,” she explained.

The past year has seen a boom in Jordan’s green energy industry, financed by increasing international investment. Total investment in the sector is estimated at $1bn, with at least $532m going to the “Shams Maan” solar project.

Local green energy initiatives, such as the Hashemite University’s solar project, are not only touted by critics of the deal because of their environmentally friendly credentials. Investment in the native energy sector would aid Jordan’s chronic unemployment crisis, which overwhelmingly affects young people.

While the deal should supply 30% of Jordan’s energy needs, according to the government, it will not be implemented until 2019. Until then, Jordan’s energy needs will only expand. It seems opposition to the deal will also continue.

“I know the Jordanian government is not really democratic and does not listen to the people,” said Bustani, but through pursuing protest and legal action through the anti-corruption committee, he hopes that the “tremendous popular pressure around the country” will prevail.
