A U.S. Coalition airstrike on the town of Al-Salihiyah in northern Al-Raqqa resulted in the death of 11 civilians, most of them women and children.

Video footage released by Al-Amaq Agency shows the devastating aftermath of the U.S. Coalition’s airstrike on the town of Al-Salihiyah yesterday:

The U.S. Coalition has been targeting ISIL-held territory around Al-Raqqa as part of the Syrian Democratic Forces’ (SDF) offensive against the terrorist group.

However, as a result of this SDF offensive, many civilians living in these targeted areas have been caught in the cross-fire, with no place to go in order to avoid the fighting.
