100+ Pro-life Leaders Meet in Rome to Discuss ‘crisis’ in Catholic Church*

100+ Pro-life Leaders Meet in Rome to Discuss ‘crisis’ in Catholic Church*

Today at Hotel Columbus, steps from the Vatican, commenced the fourth annual Rome Life Forum. This year’s gathering brings together over 100 life and family leaders from over 20 nations to discuss the crisis in the Church and in the family and especially the hope for renewal in Our Lady of Fatima.

For the past four years leaders have come together and recognised the crisis of faith in the Church itself as one of the greatest crises for the movements for life and family around the world.

Speaking at the Forum this year are some of the most heroic leaders in the Church, including Cardinal Raymond Burke, Cardinal Carlo Caffarra and Bishop Athanasius Schneider.

The centenary of the apparitions of Our Lady of Fatima give this year’s Forum a hopeful way forward in anticipation of the sure triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

As usual the Forum will close with all the leaders participating in the Rome March for Life on Saturday.

“One hundred years ago, Our Lady warned us of the tragic errors that threatened to ravage the world,” said Maria Madise of Voice of the Family and the Society for the Protection of Unborn Children (SPUC), one of the Forum organizers.

“The 2017 Rome Life Forum comes at a critical time in the life of the Church: 100 years after the apparitions of Our Lady of Fatima calling for repentance and conversion, and just over a year after the publication of Amoris Laetitia,” said John-Henry Westen, editor-in-chief and co-founder of LifeSiteNews, another Forum organizer.

“The pro-life and pro-family movement faces increasing persecution inside and outside the Church. Our Lady showed three little children in Portugal a clear path to renewing humanity and saving souls. We must listen to her as disorder reigns in the Church and the world.”

“There is no more necessary time than now for the pro-life leaders who love the teaching of Christ about marriage, life, and family to gather in the capital of Christendom, show their support for one another, and forge relationships that will carry forward their work on a global scale,” Madise said.

Human Life International, Associazione Famiglia Domani (Italy), and Family Life International New Zealand are also sponsors of the conference.

Duke Paul Von Oldenburg of Federation Pro Europa Christiana and Italian Professor Roberto de Mattei of the Lepanto Foundation will also speak at the Forum.

Brazil’s Temer Defies Calls to Step Down over Wiretap Scandal*

Brazil’s Temer Defies Calls to Step Down over Wiretap Scandal*

The unelected president announced he will not resign in the face of the biggest scandal to hit his crisis-ridden government yet.

Brazilian President Michel Temer said Thursday he will not resign after an explosive wiretap revealed that he had endorsed bribes to a powerful witness in order to keep him from speaking out on government corruption.

In his brief address, Temer called for a thorough investigation into the case.

“I repeat: I will not resign,” he said, speaking in Brasilia.

“I know what I did and I know I was right. I demand an immediate investigation.”

Earlier on Thursday, the Federal Supreme Court approved an investigaiton into the president over the wiretap evidence, Brazil’s O Globo reported.

Temer’s comments came in response to a damning recording implicating him and other politicians in a corruption scheme that has served the heaviest blow to the scandal-plagued administration yet.

The tape, reported by O Globo Wednesday evening, revealed that Temer had given his blessing to hefty bribes in the name of keeping a key witness, Eduardo Cunha, quiet in the country’s largest-ever corruption investigations, known as Operation Car Wash. Cunha, the former speaker of the lower house, the chief mastermind behind the parliamentary coup against former President Dilma Rousseff and an ally of the unelected president, was sentenced to 15 years in jail in March for corruption, money laundering and tax evasion.

The president denied accusations that her authorized dirty money payments to Cunha.

Owners of the world’s largest meat processing company, JBS, recorded the tape at a March 7 meeting with Temer and other politicians as part of an attempt to secure a plea bargain deal with prosecutors. The Supreme Court approved the plea bargain for Joesley and his brother Wesley Batista on Thursday after the release of the content of the tape.

Ahead of Temer’s address just after 4:00 p.m. local time, four members of his cabinet — Minister of Defense Raul Jungmann, Minister of Culture Roberto Freire, Minister of Cities Bruno Araujo and Foreign Minister Aloysio Nunes — said they planned to step down if Temer did not resign, Brazil’s Estadao reported.

Temer’s administration has been embroiled in corruption scandals since being installed in power last year, but the Batista tape is perhaps the strongest blow to the stability of the unelected government yet, plunging the already highly unpopular executive deeper into crisis.

The news sparked calls for Temer’s impeachment, halted debate on controversial neoliberal reforms and raised serious questions about the ability of the government to survive until the 2018 presidential election.

Brazil’s Top Court Approves Investigation into President Temer After Damning Wiretap*

Conservative senator and ally of President Michel Temer, Aecio Neves, was caught on tape asking for hefty bribes.

Brazil’s top court approved Thursday an investigation into unelected President Michel Temer over a new explosive wiretap recording that revealed the president had signed off on sizeable bribes to manage the fallout of corruption scandals swirling around his administration and keep a powerful witness from speaking out on government corruption, Brazil’s Globo TV reported.

The decision came hours after the Federal Supreme Court suspended Senator Aecio Neves Thursday morning, a Temer ally who was also embroiled in the wiretap scandal for soliciting hefty bribes. Police carried out search warrants in apartments owned by Neves in Rio de Janeiro and Belo Horizonte, as well as his and other lawmakers’ congressional offices as part of the country’s largest-ever corruption probe, known as Operation Car Wash, investigating dozens of politicians and business elites involved in fraud schemes linked to the state-run oil company, Petrobras.

The court’s decisions came a day after one of Brazil’s largest newspapers, O Globo, released damning wiretap evidence that the senator had requested bribes to the tune of 2 million Brazilian reais, or about US$638,000 from Joesley Batista, an owner of the world’s largest meat processing company, JBS. Authorities arrested Thursday the senator’s sister Andrea Neves and cousin Frederico Pacheco de Madeiros, who reportedly received suitcases of dirty money from Batista on Neves’ behalf.

Neves had previously been named in the high-profile Operation Car Wash investigations together with Temer and a number of his top allies. In 2014, the senator lost the presidential runoff election to Rousseff and was a leading advocate of the ill-footed impeachment campaign against her, widely condemned as a coup.

The court also ordered the suspension of lower house lawmaker Rodrigo Rocha Loures, a member of Temer’s conservative PMDB party and former top aide to the president. The Batista wiretap also implicated Rocha for receiving bribes to sort out issues with a JBS holding, J&F.

The same tape revealed that Temer had also given his blessing to hefty bribes in the name of keeping a key witness, Eduardo Cunha, quiet in the corruption investigations. Cunha, the former speaker of the lower house, the chief mastermind behind the parliamentary coup dressed as an impeachment process against former President Dilma Rousseff and an ally of the unelected president, was sentenced to 15 years in jail in March for corruption, money laundering and tax evasion.

Many analysts expected Cunha — who despite wielding significant political power has been seen as one of the most unpopular politicians in the country — to bring down other corrupt politicians with him by negotiating a plea bargain to reduce his sentence in exchange for evidence to advance the Car Wash investigations. Following Cunha’s suspension as speaker of the lower house last year, Brasil de Fato columnist Tico Santa Cruz called the politician a potential “suicide bomber” who could make “heads roll” and the government “implode” if he testified in corruption cases.

Batista recorded the March 7 meeting with Temer and other politicians as part of an attempt to secure a plea bargain deal with prosecutors. O Globo reported the contents of the wiretap Wednesday night, without disclosing how the newspaper gained access to the recording. The Supreme Court approved the plea bargain for Joesley and his brother Wesley Batista on Thursday after the release of the content of the tape.

Temer denied Thursday the accusations that he endorsed paying off Cunha to keep him quiet in prison and dismissed calls for him to step down over the latest scandal rocking his government. The president also cleared his schedule for the rest of the day to manage the fallout from the wiretap release and was expected to make a public address on national TV within hours, according to his aides.

The president already faces the possibility of being unseated through a trial set to restart next month in the country’s top electoral court. The case probes alleged illegal campaign funding in Rousseff’s successful bid for re-election in 2014 with Temer as her running mate and could ultimately annul the election results, booting Temer from office early.

The case could take as long as one year, and Temer’s defense is expected to employ stall tactics to avoid the court reaching a decision before his term ends in 2018.

Macron an American Trojan horse in the Elysee Palace*

Macron an American Trojan horse in the Elysee Palace*

The new French president, Emmanuel Macron, who was thrust into the French presidential race as a pro-European Union counterweight to prevent the election of National Front leader Marine Le Pen, appears to have more than a casual relationship with the United States. While he worked within the Ministry of the Economy as both a special inspector and as minister, Macron oversaw the virtual theft of strategic French industries by American firms having strong links to the U.S. Intelligence Community.

The hacking of the computers of Macron’s «En Marche!» campaign movement by unknown parties yielded some interesting material. Defenders of Macron contend that the computer files released were either «fake» or extraneous information. However, one set of files dealing with the virtual theft of France’s top information technology giant by individuals connected to the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency is exactly the type of files one would expect the Macron campaign would keep. Macron’s first job in the French government was to protect the interests of French companies from foreign competition and, most of all, acquisition.

The move by the American intelligence services to acquire French smart card technology leader Gemplus International began in 2001 and the operation was largely complete by 2004, the year Macron became an Inspector of Finances in the French Ministry of Economy. French industry has long been a target for surveillance and/or acquisition by American companies and the CIA has played an important role in such «economic warfare» operations. For example, the French electronics firm Thomson-CSF was long a top target for U.S. National Security Agency and CIA surveillance.

Documents concerning the successful takeover of Gemplus, along with its main factory in Gemenos, Bouches-du-Rhône, France, by an American firm called Texas Pacific Group (TPG) are included in the tranche of files lifted from the «En Marche!» computers. TPG first acquired Gemplus shares in February 2000. In 2006, Gemplus merged with Axalto to form Gemalto and the effective U.S. control of the firm was complete.

In September 2002, Alex Mandl, an American native of Vienna, Austria, and a former President of AT&T, chairman and CEO of Teligent, board member of the CIA’s venture capital firm IN-Q-TEL, and member of the board of the neoconservative American Enterprise Institute, was named CEO of Gemplus International. He continues as the executive chairman of Gemalto.

As a result of the disclosures of former NSA contractor Edward Snowden, it is now known that the British Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ), working with the NSA, successfully penetrated the SIM cards used by Gemalto. The GCHQ/NSA successfully intercepted mobile communications using encryption-enabled Gemalto SIM cards in Afghanistan, Yemen, India, Serbia, Iran, Iceland, Somalia, Pakistan and Tajikistan. The GCHQ-NSA attack also targeted Gemalto SIM card personalization centers in Japan, Colombia. and Italy. The NSA and GCHQ hack of Gemalto’s SIM chips by their joint Mobile Handset Exploitation Team (MHET) represents perhaps the largest NSA interception operation in history, one that saw billions of mobile calls and text messages successfully intercepted and decoded by NSA and its British partner. More sinister is the inclusion of Gemalto SIM card identification data in the CIA’s database of cell phones targeted in U.S. drone strikes.

«En Marche!» internal documents point to four French government agencies having conducted investigations into the Gemplus takeover. They are the «Renseignements généraux» (RG) (General Intelligence), «Direction de la sûreté du territoire» (DST), the Industry Ministry, and Macron’s Economy Ministry.

The French corporate press, which lavished Macron with praise, a former Rothschild banker, describes the Gemplus documents as having nothing to do with Macron. The French media argues that Macron was a mere student at the elitist French civil service academy, the École nationale d’administration (ENA) until he graduated in 2004. However, as the leaked documents clearly indicate, the Gemplus takeover was still being investigated by the French government when Macron became an Inspector within the Economy Ministry in 2004. Since Macron’s role was to ensure that French companies were free of foreign attempts to stymie French economic growth, his performance, as seen in the loss of French jobs to foreign interests, was abysmal.

It is very likely that En Marche’s files on the Gemplus takeover were to have backup information at the ready in the event Macron’s role in covering up details of the American takeover of Gemplus were to become public. Any political party must be prepared to confront revelations exposed by «opposition research» into their candidates. It is also noteworthy that one of En Marche’s few published policy planks stated it was Macron’s policy to «monitor» but not prevent foreign ownership of strategic French industries and businesses.

In 2008, Macron left government to join the Rothschild & Cie Banque. He also became a leader in the neoconservative-heavy French-American Foundation, which counts among its alum Hillary Clinton, General Wesley Clark, and former World Bank president Robert Zoellick.

The operative question about Macron is: what did he know about the Gemplus takeover and when did he know it? «En Marche’s» Gemplus files, contained in a folder labeled «Macron» and dealing with the American takeover, read like a John LeCarré spy novel.

One file, marked «Confidential», and sent to Stefan Quandt of the billionaire Quandt family of BMW and Daimler fame in Germany, deals with Gemplus’s plummeting stock value in 2001 amid «extremely tense relationship and clashes between the main people at the top echelons, and breakdown of communication with the personnel. As a result, the bulk of them is completely unmotivated today».

As an inspector within the Economy Ministry, it is astounding that Macron would not have been aware of the violation of French law that occurred with the American takeover of Gemplus. This is also described in another Gemplus file from his campaign, which points to the situation regarding Gemplus’s post-U.S. takeover: «Irresponsible statements, often followed by reversals on site closures and firing of personnel, even before consulting with their representatives (as the law and common sense requires)».

The Quandts are very publicity-shy and there is a good reason for it. Guenther Quandt manufactured Mauser firearms and anti-aircraft rockets for the Third Reich. He divorced his first wife, Magde Quandt, after they had one child, Harald Quandt. Magde then married Nazi Propaganda Minister Joseph Goebbels. Stefan Quandt, who was involved in the takeover of Gemplus, is the son of Harald Quandt’s half-brother Herbert Quandt.

The negative information on Gemplus resulted in a January 24, 2002 report from Goldman Sachs that urged the company to continue with its American-directed restructuring to maintain market health. Although he was a student at the ENA at the time, there is scant information on what projects to which Macron was assigned from 2001 to 2003 by his civil service professors.

Other Gemplus-related files in the «En Marche!» folder include those related to one of the principals of Gemplus, Ziad Takieddine, a French-Lebanese Druze arms broker and graduate of the CIA-linked American University of Beirut. Takieddine helped engineer the American takeover with the help of Herr Quandt. Takieddine has helped conclude major French arms deals with Libya, Syria, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan. Accused of money laundering in the British Virgin Islands by his ex-wife, Takieddine is also the uncle of Amal Alamuddin, the wife of actor George Clooney. Takieddine is also a bitter political foe of former President Nicolas Sarkozy, who lost out in the presidential race in 2017 to rival conservative François Fillon. Macron edged out Fillon in the first round of the presidential election, coming in second ahead of Fillon’s third place finish.

Takieddine, Quandt, and a suspected CIA-linked firm, Texas Pacific Group (TPG), were all clearly part of a conspiracy to get rid of Gemini’s French co-founder Marc Lassus and the firm’s French executives. The decision to fire Lassus and his French colleagues was made at a Gemplus board meeting held in Washington, DC, not in France, on December 15, 2001. Another principal in the American takeover of Gemplus was Lee Kheng Nam, a Singapore business executive and a recipient of an M.S. degree in Operations Research and System Analysis from the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California. The co-founder of TPG, David Bonderman of Fort Worth, Texas was also heavily involved in the hostile takeover of Gemplus. TPG’s acquisition of Gemplus shares was conducted through a virtually unknown shell company registered in Gibraltar that was called «Zensus». Bonderman, who is Jewish, created a political stir in 2012 in Egypt when he met with Khairat El-Shater, the deputy leader of the Muslim Brotherhood and a member of the Mohamed Morsi government. Bonderman said he was looking for «investment opportunities» in Egypt.

In an undated Word document found in the «En Marche!» computers, Lassus is quoted as saying,

«I am convinced that the investment TPG had some kind of agreement with its government to move the head office to California. They tried again in January 2002».

The Gemplus workers’ unions predicted the firm’s production would move from France to Poland. The largest French union, «Confédération générale du travail» (CGT), said the takeover of Gemplus was to strip France of its smart card technology leadership. Gemplus employed 7000 French workers before its takeover by the Americans. The undated Word document also refers to French government agencies having «launched inquiries» and sought «internal informers». Did Macron play a role in either the investigations by the Economy Ministry or ratting out Gemplus «internal informers» to his American friends?

When the U.S. firm General Electric took over the French turbine and nuclear technology company Alstom, then-Economy Minister Macron said he approved of such takeovers because «state intervention in industry only happens in Venezuela». That came as music to the ears of the billionaires in the Donald Trump administration.

Britain’s Hostile Elite: Fake Jews: Deceit and Double-Think*

By Tobias Langdon

Here’s a quiz about Israeli politics. Are there any strongly identified Muslim or Christian Arabs high in Israel’s ruling conservative party?

Do those Arabs write for Arab newspapers setting out the central principle of their lives: “Arabs must come first”?

Finally, do those Arabs lavish praise on an opposition leader who opened Israel’s borders to the Third World and duped Israel into a hugely expensive and disastrous foreign war?

You have no guesses. You won’t need any. The answer to every question is the same. No, there are no Arabs like that in Israel. Not one. Furthermore, Israel has never opened its borders to the Third World or poured trillions of shekels into a disastrous foreign war. Israel is a Jewish nation where Jews are firmly in control and intend to remain so. That’s why they don’t allow Arabs to have genuine power or influence in politics, culture and academia. Arabs would have their own agenda and would not make Jewish interests their only concern, even if they weren’t hostile to Jews or determined to undermine Jewish power.

Tremendous respect for Tony Blair

In short, Israel is a sane country that keeps its large Arab minority where it belongs: out of power. Now compare the United Kingdom, a White and historically Christian nation. By comparison with Israel, the U.K. is insane, because it allows outsiders to exercise enormous power and influence. Worse still, those outsiders are both hostile to the White majority and determined to undermine it by promoting mass immigration and minority worship. Here is an article written for the Jewish Chronicle by Daniel Finkelstein, a strongly identified Jew high in the ruling Conservative party:

Corbyn must lose — for our sake  [i.e., for the readers of the Jewish Chronicle]

Tony Blair — a man for whom I have tremendous respect — has been arguing that, as Theresa May is going to win, what we really need is a strong opposition. … I have a lot of friends who vote Labour and I understand their dilemma. They have supported Labour all their lives and they don’t want to abandon their party to Jeremy Corbyn. Unfortunately, not abandoning the party to Mr. Corbyn means supporting the party while he leads it. Despite the acuteness of the dilemma, this is unconscionable.

I realise that I am a Conservative peer and this point concerns party politics. But, still. Forgive me for this is a point I feel I must make as a Jew. If Jeremy Corbyn and his followers do not suffer a gigantic defeat in this election, it will be an utter, complete, ghastly disaster for Jews. It will mean that despite all that has happened in the past two years, all his supporters have said about Jews, people — even Jews, for goodness sake — can still support him. … Jeremy Corbyn mustn’t just lose. He must be crushed electorally. It must be impossible for his supporters to say that it wasn’t too bad and they should have another go. …

So it needs bravery now to secure the long term future of Jews on the centre left. Maybe I’m not the right person to give this advice. I can see that. But forget it’s me, I am right[,] aren’t I? (Corbyn must lose — for our sake, The Jewish Chronicle, 4th May 2017 / 10th Iyar 5777)

Daniel Finkelstein.

Beside being a Tory peer, Finkelstein is also an “associate editor” at the influential Times of London. He’s not a good writer, but he sets out his views and psychology with perfect clarity in that article. The British Labour party was founded to defend the interests of the White working-class. It abandoned that group decades ago and, at the behest of strongly identified Jews like Lord Levy, worked to harm their interests instead. Finkelstein doesn’t care. His only concern is that perennial question: “What’s best for Jews?”

Repent or be destroyed

If any political party in Britain doesn’t put Jewish interests first, Jews like Finkelstein see only two options. The first is that the party must be kept out of power until it repents and returns to the path of righteousness. That’s what Finkelstein wants for Labour. Alternatively, the party must be destroyed. That’s what Finkelstein and the rest of the Jewish elite wanted — and got — for the British National Party, which won millions of votes only a few years ago but has now collapsed, losing its two Members of the European Parliament and all but one of its local councillors.

You can see the same unblushing ethnocentrism and selfishness in “How the SDP failed the Jews,” another article in the Jewish Chronicle that puts Jewish interests first and Gentile interests nowhere. The SDP, or Social Democratic Party, was formed by rebels from the Labour party who thought their old party had become too left-wing to win elections. And look who was among those rebels:

Another youthful recruit [to the SDP], Danny Finkelstein — now a Conservative peer and JC columnist — joined Labour as a schoolboy. Delivering literature for the party during a local election campaign, he found some SDP leaflets stuck in a letter box. He fished them out, intending to throw them away but, having read them instead, promptly joined the new party. Two years after the SDP’s launch, Finkelstein became chair of the Young Social Democrats. He went on to become a political adviser to [David] Owen, a member of the party’s National Committee, and fought Ken Livingstone in Brent East in 1987. Indeed, fighting that year’s general election in alliance with the Liberal party, the SDP fielded more Jewish candidates than Labour. (How the SDP failed the Jews, The Jewish Chronicle, 13th March 2017 / 15th Adar 5777)

However, the SDP proved insufficiently pro-Israel, which is why the article concludes that it failed the crucial test for any British political party: are Jewish interests its first priority? The revelation about Daniel Finkelstein’s early political history is no surprise. Is it any wonder that he praises Tony Blair and is a good friend of the Jewish Labour supporter Jonathan Freedland? Finkelstein is a Conservative peer who isn’t actually a conservative — but of course, that’s true for a great many Tories.

That’s why the BBC are happy to allow him on the radio panel-show The News Quiz, where he sits happily with far-left folk like Jeremy Hardy and the Trotskyist Mark Steel (a Sephardic Jew). His appearances there prove that bad writing isn’t his only non-talent. He’s also bad at comedy.

Father and Son

Hugo Rifkind is another true Jew and fake conservative who airs his lack of comedic talent on the News Quiz. He’s the son of the former cabinet minister Sir Malcolm Rifkind, who, like Dianne Feinstein in the United States, has had a vital role overseeing the intelligence services. He became Chairman of the Intelligence and Security Committee in 2010. Are you reassured to hear that Sir Malcolm thinks the surveillance state is doing an excellent job and keeping strictly within the law? You shouldn’t be:

On Tempora, it has been well known that the fibre optic cables that carry a significant proportion of the world’s communications pass close to the British coastline and could provide intelligence opportunities. The reality is that the British public are well aware that its intelligence agencies have neither the time nor the remotest interest in the emails or telephone conversations of well over 99% of the population who are neither potential terrorists nor serious criminals. Modern computer technologies do permit the separation of those that are of interest from the vast majority that are not. (What rubbish, Sir Simon! Our intelligence agencies are not outside the law, The Guardian, 20th September, 2013)

Deep-state defender Malcolm Rifkind

Malcolm Rifkind is yet another strongly identified Jew who has enormous power and influence in the White and historically Christian nation of Britain. The contrast with Israel is even starker when you consider that Jews, at about 1%, are a far smaller minority here than Arabs, at just over 20%, are in Israel. Britain is not a White democracy: it is much more accurately labelled a Jewish oligarchy. When the so-called Labour party was in power, it was firmly under Jewish control. Now the so-called Conservative party is in power and firmly under Jewish control.

Vibrancy and violence

That explains why mass immigration continues as freely under the Tories as it did under Labour. It also explains why the Tories introduced “gay marriage” and, with the fake conservative Theresa May as Home Secretary, told the police to stop persecuting down-trodden Black youths in London and other ethnically enriched cities. The result can be seen in vibrant news at Breitbart: “Knife Crime Soars to Five-Year High After Kerb on ‘Racist’ Police Stop and Search.”

Does this have any connection with vibrant news in the Guardian: “Reported rapes in England and Wales double in four years”? Yes, of course it does. Mass immigration from violent and corrupt Third-World nations inevitably increases crime in Western nations. Israel doesn’t suffer from this crime because it doesn’t allow mass immigration from the Third World.

“It is tough working for the Jews…”

Daniel Finkelstein, the Rifkinds and other members of the Jewish elite don’t care about the harmful effects of mass immigration. They think it’s “Good for Jews,” because it atomizes British society and provides ample excuse for authoritarian laws and mass surveillance. Most of them are wealthy enough to insulate themselves from non-White violence — not that this stops Jews demanding subsidies from the government for security against threats that they themselves created.

And although Jews claim to be deeply concerned about the welfare of minorities in Britain, the minorities in question often have different stories. Here are two extracts from a book called This Is London: Life and Death in the Big City (2016) by the Jewish author Ben Judah:

The Jews, they are a strange people. They like to talk to the Filipinas [who work for them as domestic servants]. “We are an immigrant family like you,” they say. And when the Filipina goes, “Oh, when did you move to Britain?”, the Jews say, “1880.” And the Filipina is stunned and confused. The Jews, they only ever talk about Israel — Israel, Israel, Israel, all day Israel — and it is as if they are living here in St John’s Wood [a wealthy suburb of London] but they are really there, in precious Israel. …

And it is tough working for the Jews. They make many Filipinas cry. They are more likely than anyone else to bring the Filipinas inside the family — but this is mostly a charade. They never, ever want to pay — as little as possible, as late as possible. And there are many, many Filipinas who burst into tears when they realize after seven years that the Jews have been cheating them on national insurance, their weekly salaries, or even more. (Op. cit., “Knightsbridge,” pp. 229 and 231)

If Ben Judah weren’t himself Jewish, he might have risked prosecution for spreading hate-stereotypes about Jewish venality, deceit and ethnocentrism. His book describes an atomized city full of crime, alienation and competing tribes. Twenty-first-century London is a Jewish creation, formed by policies dear to Jews and their liberal allies, but never supported by the White majority. In a supposed democracy, Jews have got their disastrous way on mass immigration.

No to Nassim

If you want to understand how a minority can control the majority like that, an excellent place to start is Nassim Taleb’s essay “The Most Intolerant Wins: The Dominance of the Stubborn Minority.” Taleb is an Arab Christian from Lebanon, a highly intelligent and insightful economist and statistician who predicted — and warned against — the financial crisis. Surely Taleb would make an excellent director at the Bank of Israel or a senior adviser in the Israeli government?

Nassim Taleb: no good for Israel

No, not at all. Taleb is precisely the kind of person Israel wants to exclude from power, not invite into it. He’s an Arab and a Christian. He wouldn’t make “What’s best for Jews?” the central principle of his life. In Jewish eyes, his intelligence and insight make him less suitable for high office in Israel, not more. And he’s even dared to suggest that the great Jewish intellectual Susan Sontag was obnoxious and uncouth.

Lascivious Priest

Politics in Britain inverts the Israeli rule: it doesn’t discriminate in favour of the majority, but against it. Any hint that a party seeks what’s best for the White majority will elicit loud accusations of racism, xenophobia and fascism. That’s what happened to UKIP and that’s why UKIP were delighted that their candidate in the mayoral election in Manchester was an Orthodox Jew called Shneur Odze. Alas, Mr Odze has let the party down. The Jewish Chronicle, which doesn’t like UKIP or Orthodox Judaism, was happy to report the following:

A strictly Orthodox man standing as UKIP’s candidate in the Manchester mayoral election has been accused of conducting an affair with a woman he met on a bondage sex website. Shneur Odze, who had declined to shake hands with a female political opponent on “religious grounds” earlier in the election campaign, allegedly posed as a Catholic priest on the site, which is described as a social network for the “fetish and kinky community”.

According to the Mail on Sunday, Mr Odze described himself on his profile as having been into bondage and sadomasochism “for a number of years” during which he said he had “tried a great deal and enjoyed even more”. The Mail reported that Mr Odze had met the woman for sex. She discovered his real identity when she put his mobile number into Google and found his UKIP Facebook page.

Mr Odze is married with four children. He has not responded to requests for comment. His local UKIP branch chairman resigned after the allegations were made, saying he could not support Mr. Odze’s actions. A UKIP spokesman said: “This is a personal matter for Mr Odze. He has broken no law.” (Sex claims against UKIP candidate, The Jewish Chronicle, 5th May 2017 / 9th Iyar 5777)

Shneur Odze, fake Catholic

I was struck by the allegation that Shneur Odze “posed as a Catholic priest.” If true, it’s both funny and revealing. Odze was posing as a Catholic rather in the way that Daniel Finkelstein is posing as a conservative. He was both having his own cake and poisoning someone else’s — that is, helping to bring the Catholic Church into disrepute. A devout Catholic exposed for posing as a rabbi on an S&M website would surely be denounced for anti-Semitism. Has the devout Jew Odze, posing as a Catholic priest, been denounced for Christophobia or goyophobia? No, not at all. Those concepts don’t exist in the mainstream, even though the phenomena are widespread among British Jews:

Jewish hostility to Christians: the prejudice no one ever writes about

The case of the Oxford lecturer in Jewish studies who says she was sacked after she converted to Christianity has thrown a spotlight on to an acutely sensitive subject. I have no idea whether Dr. Tali Argov was treated unfairly — that’s for the employment tribunal to decide — but let’s not pretend that Jews who become Christians don’t face intense disapproval from their own community.

Christian anti-Semitism, Muslim anti-Semitism, Christian Islamophobia, Muslim persecution of Christians [note lack of a term for this] — all of these are acceptable topics of debate. But not Jewish hostility to Christianity [ditto].

You can understand why Jews might dislike the Christian religion: not only does it deify a man, the ultimate blasphemy for pious Jews just as it is for pious Muslims, but it’s also implicated in centuries of anti-Semitism. (I think its role in inspiring the Holocaust has been exaggerated, but that’s an argument for another day.)

Sometimes Jewish antipathy to Christianity spills over into hostility towards Christians. There was a piece in the Independent the other day by Christina Patterson that went way over the top in describing the rudeness of Stamford Hill’s ultra-Orthodox Jews towards non-Jews:

When I moved to Stamford Hill [in London], 12 years ago, I didn’t realise that goyim were about as welcome in the Hasidic Jewish shops as Martin Luther King at a Ku Klux Klan convention. I didn’t realise that a purchase by a goy was a crime to be punished with monosyllabic terseness, or that bus seats were a potential source of contamination, or that road signs, and parking restrictions, were for people who hadn’t been chosen by God. And while none of this is a source of anything much more than irritation, when I see an eight-year-old boy recoiling from a normal-looking woman (because, presumably, he has been taught that she is dirty or dangerous, or, heaven forbid, dripping with menstrual blood) it makes me sad.

Stephen Pollard, the brilliant editor of the Jewish Chronicle, described this as “pure, unrelenting unadulterated anti-Jewish bigotry,” on the part of Ms Patterson and indeed some of its undertones are disturbing. But monosyllabic terseness towards goyim? I’ve experienced it, and it’s maddening. Let me recommend a gripping book called Postville by the secular Jewish journalist Stephen Bloom, who records the extreme bad manners of Lubavitch Jews who moved en masse to a town in rural Iowa to run a huge kosher butchery. In the end, angry Christian townspeople, who had initially been welcoming, voted to annexe the land on which the factory was built, so they could tax and regulate it. Bloom, who felt the Lubavitchers had displayed “despicable” attitudes verging on racism, supported the move.

Jewish hostility towards Christians isn’t confined to the ultra-Orthodox. A woman friend of mine tutored the daughter of a Jewish couple in north London. When she said she wanted to take a break for Christmas, the wife went bananas. “We do not allow that word to be spoken in this house,” she said. An unrepresentative incident, no doubt; but my friend’s attitude towards Judaism changed after it took place. And I could tell other stories, of unbelievable haughtiness by the leaders of Anglo-Jewry, which would have led to diplomatic incidents if the Christians involved weren’t afraid of being accused of anti-Semitism.

[U]ntil now I’ve never written a word about Jewish prejudice against Christians, even though I’ve seen it at close hand, at a series of Jewish-run conferences I attended in America in the 1990s at which evangelical Christian believers were stereotyped as fanatics who needed only the right demagogue to turn them into murderous anti-Semites. If the conferences were being held now, I suspect most of the flak would be taken by Catholics.

It would be interesting read a book on anti-Christian sentiment among modern Jews, including Jewish historians who invest heavily in the notion of Christian or gentile collective guilt for crimes committed by others. But such a book would have to come from the perspective of someone without an axe to grind (i.e, not one of the anti-Semitic nutcases who are such a depressing presence in the blogosphere). And something tells me it will never be written. (Jewish hostility to Christians: the prejudice no one ever writes about, The Daily Telegraph, 29th July 2010)

Christianity has been central to Western life and culture for many centuries. Is it wise to allow Jews, who are so hostile to Christianity, so much power and influence in the West? Anti-Semitic nutcases don’t think it is. They want Western nations to act like Israel and defend their majority race and historic religion rather than working to destroy them

U.S. Coalition Bombs Syrian Army in Sweida*

By Leith Fadel

The U.S. Coalition bombed the Syrian Arab Army’s (SAA) positions in eastern Al-Sweida, today, the Pentagon claimed this evening.

A U.S. Coalition jet allegedly attacked the Syrian Army’s positions near the Rasi’i Well after the latter advanced more than 35km into rebel-held territory near the Jordanian border.

According to a military source in Damascus, the U.S. Coalition carried out a “warning” strike, which was meant to deter the Syrian government forces from advancing further into rebel-held territory; however, this has not been confirmed by the Syrian Army’s High Command.

The same source alleges that the Coalition jet was actually Jordanian, not a U.S. warplane.

If this report proves true, this attack by the U.S. would mark the second time this year that the Trump administration has targeted the Syrian military.

Saving the Lost City of Mohenjo Daro*

Saving the Lost City of Mohenjo Daro*

If nothing is done to protect the ruins — already neglected and worn by time — they will fade into dust and obscurity.

The centre of a powerful ancient civilisation, Mohenjo Daro was one of the world’s earliest cities — a Bronze Age metropolis boasting flush toilets and a water and waste system to rival many in modern Pakistan.

Some 5,000 years on archaeologists believe the ruins could unlock the secrets of the Indus Valley people, who flourished around 3,000 BC in what is now India and Pakistan before mysteriously disappearing.

But they warn, if nothing is done to protect the ruins — already neglected and worn by time — they will fade to dust and obscurity, never taking their rightful place in history.

“Everybody knows Egypt, nobody knows Mohenjo Daro, this has to be changed,” says Dr. Michael Jansen, a German researcher working at the sun-baked site on the banks of the Indus river in Pakistan’s southern Sindh province.

Jansen is at the forefront of a new effort to promote the site internationally while finding ways to protect what is left.

In summer temperatures can soar above 46°C.

“There is enormous thermo-stress,” says Jansen, adding that salt from the underground water table is also damaging the ruins.

But it’s more than just the weather and time. Pakistan’s bloody fight against militancy has also raised the spectre of destruction by an Islamist group, much like Islamic State destroyed the ruins in Syria’s Palmyra.

Most horrifying, however, is the wanton disregard for Mohenjo Daro — or “mound of the dead” — by ordinary citizens.

In 2014 police stood atop the main stupa as hundreds of people swarmed the site to, ironically, commemorate Pakistan’s cultural heritage — complete with scaffolding, dancing, fireworks, heavy spotlights and lasers.

Sardar Ali Shah, cultural minister in Sindh province, vowed never to let such a thing happen again. “It’s like you are jumping on the bed of a 5,000-year-old ailing patient,” he tells AFP.

Yet today curious visitors still roam the remains with impunity, many leaving rubbish in the once pristine-streets and wells.

‘Foreigners are afraid’

Jansen and his Friends of Mohenjo Daro society aim to promote the site internationally, with plans to recruit Pakistanis around the world for conferences, seminars and debates.

Dr Kaleem Lashari, chief consultant to the Pakistani government over Mohenjo Daro, said they will also digitally archive the Indus script — which has never been deciphered — in hopes that making it accessible will increase the site’s profile.

At the site itself, he said, technical reviews are being held to examine the water logging issue and other ways to shore up the ruins, while exploring new, modern technology that allows researchers to ascertain what lies beneath the surface in the portions of the city not yet excavated.

But, Lashari says, perhaps the biggest challenge remains Pakistan’s international image, tarnished by extremism, corruption, poverty, and insecurity.

“Foreigners are afraid to visit Pakistan and the site because of the chronic issue of law and order,” he warns.

All roads lead to equality?

The issues he cites underscore unsettling differences between modern day Pakistan and the civilisation found among the ruins.

At their peak during the Bronze Age, the Indus Valley people are believed to have numbered up to five million, with Mohenjo Daro their largest and most advanced settlement.

Clay and metallic seals, coins, standardised weighing stones, gold and bronze ornaments, toys and whistles — the bric-a-brac of ancient lives have revealed volumes about thriving Indus trade and commerce.

The layout of the city itself suggests an egalitarian people more concerned with cleanliness than hierarchy, says Dr Jonathan Mark Kenoyer of the University of Wisconsin.

“In Mesopotamia, the streets went from the city to the palace … whereas in (Indus) cities all the streets were organised to allow access to the whole city,” he says.

Mohenjo Daro had a complex water and waste management system which observers have wryly noted was better than in many parts of Pakistan today.

Only a small portion of the site has been excavated properly, but the most important building appears not to have been a palace or a place of worship, but a massive public bath.

Houses had tiled bathrooms and their own cylindrical brick wells, sometimes raised to the second floor to allow for a flush system.

None of this, however, has yet explained why such a powerful, advanced and flourishing civilisation disappeared so abruptly around 1900 BC.

Currently, there is no bid to excavate further among the plans being laid by Lashari and Jansen. “It is actually preserved when it is buried,” explains Harvard University’s Dr Richard Meadow.

Despite their access to new technologies, that puts researchers in a quandary, especially as they try to understand what happened to the Indus people. As Jansen says, the “best way to learn information is to excavate.”

But mysteries take time to solve: for now, the researchers say, they will settle for ensuring that Mohenjo Daro endures for a few centuries more.

Tribes Unite Across U.S. and Canada to Oppose Keystone XL in Declaration*

It is intended as a message to President Donald Trump and may be sent to the United Nations.

Today (May 17), tribal leaders are gathering in Calgary, Alberta to sign a 16-page declaration against the Keystone XL Pipeline.

From the United States are the Great Sioux Nation and Ponca tribes and from Canada, the Blackfoot Confederacy. They will sign the “Declaration Opposing Oil Sand Expansion and the Construction of the Keystone XL Pipeline” as a message to President Donald Trump, reports Native News Online.

“There is a historic union between first Americans in Canada and Native Americans in the United States,” said Casey Camp-Horinek, a councilwoman with the Ponca tribe in Oklahoma, to The Associated Press.

“Long before a border ever existed on a map, a fictitious line on a map, we were a united peoples in our approach to care of Mother Earth.”

Pipeline opponents seemingly won the battle against the 1,179 mile-long pipeline in 2015 when former President Barack Obama rejected developer TransCanada’s permit application. However, Trump entered the White House January 20 and signed a presidential memorandum to repeal that just four days later.

With this declaration, indigenous people across North America want Trump to know why this pipeline is destructive to their culture, safety and history. The preamble reads, per Native News:

“We, The First People, were and remain the stewards of the land and with this Declaration renew our vow to carry that sacred obligation in defense of our Mother, the Earth, and all born of her body and nurtured at her breast who are no longer heard amidst the dissonance of industrialization and corporate domination.”

One of the declaration’s strongest demands revolves around treaty rights. Tribal leaders want consultation processes to change and require consent. Currently, companies such as TransCanada may include a Native American Relations Policy or Aboriginal Relations Policy (both of which TransCanada has), but a tribe’s rejection doesn’t factor in significantly. Tribal members might send this declaration to the United Nations, the AP reports.

Currently, the $8 billion pipeline is not guaranteed to happen. Groups have sued the federal government for the permit it issued TransCanada. In Nebraska, the project has still not been approved. Opponents have been preparing to build camps—similar to what was seen in North Dakota against the Dakota Access Pipeline—along the proposed pipeline route.
