Anti-Islam Marches in U.S. Fail to Draw Participants*

Anti-Islam Marches in U.S. Fail to Draw Participants*

A right-wing, anti-immigrant lobbyist group fearful of Muslim religious fundamentalist law staged marches in U.S. cities on Saturday, and but they don’t seem to have drawn many attendees.

Apparently concerned that the U.S. is being overrun by Islamic religious fundamentalists, a right-wing lobbying group with close ties to the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump is attempting to drum up support for their cause by staging marches in about two dozen cities across the country.

The anti-Muslim lobby group Act for America, designated as a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center, has assisted right-wing politicians in passing anti-Muslim and anti-immigration laws at the state level and now seeks to expand its message through a series of marches that are lightning rods for strident rhetoric and potential violence, as counter marches were also planned.

Today’s planned marches, said to be occurring in at least 20 U.S. cities, have been branded by the special-interest group as a “March Against Sharia.” The fact that the marches got off the ground at all indicates an increase in religious and cultural intolerance by some Americans, driven in part by the country’s stark political divide following Trump’s election, according to the Washington Post.

Though there were warnings that the ACT marches could lead to violence, a low turnout combined with little voter appetite for the group’s message has resulted in a relatively peaceful day so far, with just one arrest documented in St. Paul, Minnesota.

The Hill reports that though this is one of the largest events coordinated by Act for America, which has more than 520,000 members, the organization had trouble attracting people willing to take to the streets. Facebook event pages for marches in some cities had fewer than 70 RSVPs. Attendance at the various right-wing marches around the country has been underwhelming, by most reports.

Heidi Beirich, director of the Intelligence Project at the Southern Poverty Law Center, stated that Act for America’s fears of creeping sharia law are unfounded.

“It is absolutely impossible for any religious law to take over U.S. law,” Beirich said, cited by NBCnews.com. “The Constitution stops it, there is a separation of church and state.”

Act for America founder Brigitte Gabriel has been quoted as stating that a “practicing Muslim, who believes in the teachings of the Qur’an, cannot be a loyal citizen of the United States.”

A New York March Against Sharia supporter stated the march had “nothing to do with religion or nothing like that,” though they also added “If [Muslims] don’t like it they can go back to their countries and deal with it there,” according to the New York Post.

“The constitution is the law of the land,” said a protester in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

“We have to be careful with who we let in the country,” according to Reuters.

New York City’s march got under way about an hour late and involved some three dozen ACT supporters waving oversized American flags.

Across the street from the marchers, some 200 people held a large sign reading “Fascists out of NYC.”

Although there haven’t been many arrests, there have been clashes between Antifa and March Against Sharia protesters, according to reports. And there has been one death, though not due to violence: one March Against Sharia participant in New York suffered a heart attack during the event.

Europe Moves Away from U.S. to Become Independent in Terms of Defense Capability*

Europe Moves Away from U.S. to Become Independent in Terms of Defense Capability*

By Alex Gorka

The idea to create a European defense structure independent from NATO had been floated for some time. It was a topic for discussions but no concrete steps have been taken to make it come true. It appears to be changing now after U.S. President Trump apparently made no mention of Article 5 or collective defense during the May 25 NATO summit to stun his European allies. «Trump Leaves NATO» was the Carnegie Endowment’s assessment of the event. No such thing ever happened before. It provides a powerful incentive for the Europeans to push ahead with plans to convert the words into deeds. German Chancellor Angela Merkel urged Europeans “to take our destiny in our hands” and warned that the United States was no longer a reliable partner. Her words marked a turning point.

The first thing German, French defense chiefs did right after the summit was to launch a joint initiative to create a European security force. The Permanent Structured Cooperation (PESCO) is at the core of the effort. PESCO is a mechanism allowing willing countries to launch joint security projects without requiring all E.U. member states to agree or participate. The Initiative has been supported by the E.U. executive branch of power.

On June 7, the European Commission proposed a new common defence fund to reverse billions of euros in defense cuts to let governments club together to develop and buy new helicopters and planes at lower costs, also opening the door to new drones, cyberwarfare systems and other hi-tech gear. The measure would help Europe stand alone as a global military power while the ties with the U.S. get more strained.

The E.U. executive is mobilizing €39 ($43, 8) billion by 2027 to support the joint development of military capabilities. Together with national contributions, the Commission expects to mobilize €5.5 ($6, 2) billion per year after 2020. National governments will identify jointly with the European Defence Agency what military capabilities should be prioritized.

The E.U. estimates it loses up to a €100 ($112, 3) billion a year on duplication, leaving it with far fewer capabilities than the U.S. Europe has 37 types of armoured personal carriers and 12 types of tanker aircraft compared to nine and four respectively in the United States, according to E.U. analysis. For the future, an idea of a common European defence bond for joint purchases is floated, though no decisions have been taken so far.

The Commission also presented a reflection paper that hopes to kick off the process of articulating a political vision on three possible scenarios for the development of nascent cooperation on defense. One of the options foresees a mutual assistance clause to respond to external attacks, sharing the cost of expensive military assets, and the E.U.’s «high-end security and defence operations» with a greater level of integration of national defence forces. It envisages the creation of «pre-positioned permanently available forces» for rapid deployment «on behalf of the union,» as well as a European border and coast guard relying on joint intelligence assets, such as remotely piloted aircraft systems or satellites. All these measures would enable the bloc to run high-end operations in hostile environments.

The European Union’s defense fund idea, which still needs to be approved by governments and the European Parliament, is part of an emerging network of proposals that E.U. leaders are set to consider at a summit in Brussels on June 22-23. The European Union is setting up a military headquarters – the Military Planning and Conduct Capability (MPCC) – for training missions abroad. It wants to make it easier to use its E.U. battlegroups that have never been put to action.

The 13 battalion-sized battle groups were envisioned as small, collective defense forces ready for rapid response to developing crises anywhere in the world. Declared fully operational in 2007, they have never deployed due to political and financial considerations. In 2013, European leaders drew up plans to send a battle group to the Central African Republic to help avert the developing civil war there but the UK strongly opposed the idea to make it be swept under the rug. The plans will be revived when Estonia assumes the rotating presidency of the Council of the E.U. on July 1. The Estonian government says one of its main priorities will be securing common funding for the battle groups. Today, the nations comprising each battle group cover their own costs.

Actually, the new decisions dovetail with the Global Strategy for the European Union’s Foreign And Security Policy adopted a year ago when Brexit hit headlines meaning the staunchest opponent of the European defense was leaving the bloc, paving the way for implementation of the European defense concept. The document says it is highly desirable for Europeans to build foreign policy, security, and defense capabilities instead of relying solely on the United States for protection and global services.

The meaning is obvious – the E.U. must develop the capability to carry out its own military operations without Americans. Allocating military resources to an independent European structure will greatly weaken NATO. But the idea of a European military independent from the U.S. is gaining traction. If the idea goes through, arrangements could allow Norway, a NATO member outside the E.U., to contribute, while Sweden and Finland, E.U. members outside NATO, might find an E.U. alliance preferable to one that crosses the Atlantic.

In the past, E.U. members have been dragged into conflicts, like Afghanistan and Iraq that had no relation to European security in order to demonstrate solidarity with America. If implemented, the European defense concept will allow to give priority to European, rather than transatlantic, security interests. For instance, creating a E.U. border force to counter the refugees’ problem. Europe is facing multiple threats in its strategic neighbourhood, while the U.S. is moving to Asia. Better relations with Russia would be an additional bonus for a E.U. security alliance independent from U.S.-dominated NATO. United by common threats to the European continent, the two could more easily reduce tensions and mistrust.

With the U.S. and Europe apparently going separate ways, NATO will be weakened and a new pattern of European security will emerge. This process has been launched and it’s hardly possible to stop it.

Putin says European Elites Are Working to Prevent Brexit*

Putin says European Elites Are Working to Prevent Brexit*

By Baxter Dmitry

President Vladimir Putin has sent a warning to the people of the United Kingdom, telling them that “Brexit will never happen” if left to the elites, and that the “the final battle for British sovereignty” is being fought right now.

The U.K. election resulted in a hung parliament and Putin explained that although Conservative PM Theresa May campaigned on a pro-Brexit platform, she relied on “fake enthusiasm” and had “more bad days than good” during the campaign.

The British people saw through her act and refused to rally behind her, according to Putin. The sad fact is that in 2017 Britain does not have leaders who are willing to stand up to the European elite and fight for the British people’s desire to reject the New World Order.

President Vladimir Putin said he fears that the United Kingdom “will never leave” the European Union because “Brexit was untenable for the powers that be.

The British people must fight for their rights now, right now,” Putin explained, “or else the elites will get them in a vice-like grip of which they will never be able to free themselves.

“It is now or never for them. They rejected the globalist vision, the European superstate, in favor of their national identity, their great history, their great culture. Now they need to force their leaders to respect them. Because, mark my words, their leaders are doing everything they can to betray them.”

Putin also warned that the gains made by the Labour Party in the election represent the start of a complete overhaul of the Brexit decision. Theresa May’s Conservative Party have lost their parliamentary majority and another election in the near future is highly likely.

Another swing towards the socialist Labour Party in the future will be the final nail in the coffin of the “Brexit dream”. The European elites will have recovered from the devastating loss of the United Kingdom from their New World Order project.

Puerto Ricans to Vote between Statehood and Independence*

Puerto Ricans to Vote between Statehood and Independence*

Puerto Rico is preparing to vote on becoming the 51st U.S. state, but there are several other options that the islanders can choose from in the non-binding referendum, including maintaining the status quo to becoming a full-fledged country on its own.

Amid a historic bankruptcy declaration, Puerto Ricans will head to the polls on Sunday to reexamine the island’s relationship with the United States.

The options are to maintain Puerto Rico’s status as a commonwealth, become the 51st state in the Union, become a “free association” state, or declare independence and take full control of its governance for the first time in its history.

The conquistador Juan Ponce de Leon began Spain’s settlement on the island in 1508, and it remained a Spanish colony and military outpost until the Spanish-American War in 1898, when it came under U.S. sovereignty.

In 1917, Puerto Ricans were granted United States citizenship. Public Law 600, a 1950 federal law, authorized the island’s residents to draft and adopt their own Constitution, which they did in 1952. At that point, Puerto Rico gained commonwealth status. The question voters face now is: what they want the status of the island to be going forward.

So you want to maintain your current status

As a commonwealth of the U.S., Puerto Rico enjoys the same common defense, market and currency as the 50 states. However, residents cannot vote in federal elections, though they do vote in presidential primaries. They have a non-voting resident commissioner who speaks for Puerto Rico in the House of Representatives.

Residents do not pay federal income tax on money earned on the island; the Social Security tax is collected based by mutual consent between the U.S. and Puerto Rican governments. Many federal assistance programs have separate, but similar versions for the island.

So you want to be the 51st state

Although Puerto Rico previously voted against statehood in 1967, 1993 and 1998, a majority of voters opted for it in 2012 in a referendum that didn’t go anywhere. This is the option that is expected to win on Sunday. If it does, it would follow the steps in what’s known as the Tennessee Plan to becoming a state. Puerto Rico would send a congressional delegation to Washington demanding a seat for two senators and five representatives chosen by the governor.

Although the Republican Party, which controls both chambers of Congress, has paid lip service to Puerto Rican statehood in its national platform since the 1940s, it is expected to block any attempt by the island to join the union because Puerto Ricans generally tend to support Democrats.

The benefit of statehood is that Puerto Rico would gain federal money on programs to help the island’s bankrupt economy. The drawback is that residents would have to pay individual and corporate taxes, just like those of any other state.

“We wouldn’t want a bailout. I’m no fan of bailouts. I think we need to assume responsibility for what’s going on here,” Governor Ricardo Rossello (D-Puerto Rico) said.

“Statehood is much more than resources. Statehood is an equal playing field for U.S. citizens that reside on the island.”

Vice President Mike Pence supports Puerto Rican statehood, Resident Commissioner Jenniffer Gonzalez (R-Puerto Rico) said after meeting with him several months ago, CNBC reported.

So you want to enter ‘free association’

If voters opt for this international political status, Puerto Rico would join the Federated States of Micronesia, the Marshall Islands and Palau as nations that sign a compact of free association with the United States. The treaty would be recognized under international law as a sovereign, democratic, self-governing and decolonizing status short of full independence. It lasts only as long as the agreement of association remains in effect. The three current compacts are renegotiated every five years.

There is a large difference between Puerto Rico and the three nations that are part of the Trust Territory of the Pacific Islands that the compact of free association would need to address, Ramon Luis Nieves wrote in an op-ed in favour of free association. The three Pacific countries were never under U.S. sovereignty and, as such, their citizens have never been considered US citizens.

“Continued transmission of U.S. citizenship is an essential issue. There are no constitutional obstacles for Puerto Ricans born after free association to continue their century-old citizenship status,” he wrote for The Hill. “Political will is Congress’s sole barometer on this matter.”

The pro-statehood PR51st group warns, however, that there is a big downside to such an association. The U.S. would likely not grant a temporary visa waiver program “in the age of terrorism,” so Puerto Ricans would be “subject to deportation from the US as undesirable aliens for public health protection if they carry infectious disease, crimes, public welfare dependency, or lack visible means of support.”

So you want to be the 196th (or so) country

Puerto Ricans could opt for independence, though it is highly unlikely they would do so. Only six percent of voters opted for independence in 2012. The island would be responsible for its own military defense, civil defense, and police. Puerto Rico would also be responsible for funding all aspects of its government and island residents would lose their US citizenship.

“What people have to understand about the need for independence is that there’s a fear that’s been instilled on the people in Puerto Rico that if we were independent we couldn’t run our own country,” activist Rosa Clemente, the 2008 vice presidential nominee for the Green Party, told CNN.

Proponents argue, though, that much of the island’s financial woes are due to its colonial status and patrician attitudes in Washington.

“Puerto Ricans must adhere to laws passed by a government in which they do not participate,” Maru Gonzalez wrote in an op-ed for Huffington Post.

“Independence would grant Puerto Rico a platform to address the debt crisis on its own terms and afford the island’s 3.5 million inhabitants the right to self-determination.”

Justice or Just Us?

Some might question how exactly this is “Spirit Science”… So before I go any further, I’ll explain. “In the simplest sense, I wish to change the world. Revolution of light and colour, healing, transformation, spirit cities, people working together – global realization of Christ Consciousness.” – Jordan

I once asked Jordan what his original intent was when he began his spiritual journey and that is what he said. Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, lets move forward!

After nearly a month, we finally got word from Facebook as to why our pages were unpublished…

“Hi,

The Facebook Team”

Our page was wrongfully unpublished exactly 20 days before this (see my previous article about it here). Between the 4th and the 24th, nothing changed. That being said, there are only so many possible reasons for our pages to have been unpublished this time. Between all of the pages that we know of, we had well over 15 million followers and our content reached hundreds of millions of people in a week. How could that much traffic not bring them money? So if it’s not money related, why?

Which leads me back to something I mentioned in the article I posted the first time this happened…

“Let’s say this has something to do with the spiritual movement… Why would anybody want to remove/attack the pages/websites and why now? Well, at face value, it doesn’t seem that bad. However, when you look at other facts and then consider the possibility, it becomes rather interesting. If you’re going to attack a large group of people (a country), one of the first things you’d do is disable their means of communication. But why go after spiritual groups? Perhaps it’s because we are one of the largest and most tight-nit groups that have the mantra “if not us, who? If not now, when?”

Unfortunately, it seems as if my theory was correct after all… We are in fact under attack and being censored. Here are some facts that support this statement.

The day after this video was published, our page was unpublished (the first time).

There is a very interesting documentary that I highly recommend you watch called “Fed Up”. If another country were doing this to us, we would, without a doubt, go to war with them. Also note worthy is a particular episode of “Last Week Tonight” with John Oliver where he talks about the FCC (Federal Communications Commission)… I feel as if now is a good time to remind you of something a wise man by the name of Martin Luther King once said. We should never forget that everything Adolf Hitler did in Germany was “legal” and everything the Hungarian freedom fighters did in Hungary was “illegal.” It was “illegal” to aid and comfort a Jew in Hitler’s Germany. Even so, I am sure that, had I lived in Germany at the time, I would have aided and comforted my Jewish brothers.”

Here’s something you probably haven’t seen, but is very important.

In case you still can’t see it, here are a few videos that should make things a bit more clear…

You thought Idiocracy was just a movie? I guess it’s not so funny when you realize you’re living it?

1961… Reminds me of something my father always told me. “If you forget your past, you are sure to relive it.” I recommend you pay very close attention and listen very carefully. Don’t just hear, but understand everything that is said.

None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free. Remember what I said about government in my last article? I’m not calling you a slave, I’m pointing out a fact in hopes of helping you to understand why I am as I am and maybe inspiring you do stand with us to actually do something about it.

If money is no longer backed by gold, what’s it really worth? Who way back when gave value to gold? It’s not as if we had much use for it back then, right?

Also noteworthy is that Donald Trump did not win the popular vote and yet still became president of the United States Of America. Don’t take my word for it, here’s his tweet about it. He’s also under investigation for what amounts to treason… When I just googled “treason” the president of the United States Of America was the first search result. Kinda feeling as if I’ve opened the X files, in which I found a map that lead me through the twilight zone to the outer limits…

The issue isn’t so much that he was selected instead of being elected, the issue isn’t that our food is killing us or that our rights are being taken away one by one exactly as Hitler did or even that we’ve been at war for over 15 years for reasons still unknown. The issue is what we’ve done about it… We are the 99% but that doesn’t do us any good if we never stand together.

(S)he who sacrifices freedom for security deserves neither.
Aim not to become a (wo)man of success, but rather aim to become a (wo)man of value.
Actions speak far louder than words. Many say they care, but very few show it.

I don’t mean to fearmonger and I don’t like to present problems without also presenting solutions when possible. “All that is required for good to prevail is that good men and women stand together. The dark has no defense against the shining of light.” – Ray

If it’s light you seek, you need not look further than the edge of darkness.

Remember the thing I mentioned that we were building in my last article? There’s still much to do, but it’s live now! Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you, a solution. www.panictofreedom.com & www.designoffreedom.com are both live now, but there is still much work to be done. We’ll let you know when we’re ready.

For now, share this as if your life depends on it.

Pressure mounts on Theresa May as speculation over a leadership challenge grows.

Two of the U.K. Prime Minister’s key advisers have resigned following her Conservative party’s performance in Thursday’s election.

Nick Timothy and Fiona Hill have been heavily criticized by the British press for their handling of Theresa May’s campaign.

Some reports say they were fired to avoid a potential leadership challenge next week.

The Conservatives lost their parliamentary majority and the Prime Minister’s attempts to form a minority goverment with the Democratic Unionist party (DUP) are coming under fire from the media and her inner circles.

May fell short of the eight seats needed and will now have to rely on the DUP’s 10 MPs to pass legislation.

Jeremy Corbyn’s Labour party won 262 seats, taking pollsters and the government by suprise at the scale of its gains, up 30 seats on the previous election.

In a statement on the party’s website, Hill said the result was a “huge disappointment” caused by “an unexpected surge in support for Labour.”

He also said he accepted responsibility for his part in the campaign and believed the party failed to speak to the voters who decided to vote for the opposition.

While Hill said “It’s been a pleasure to serve in the government”

May has apologised to Conservative MPs who lost their seats in the vote and has announced a minor cabinet reshuffle to try to shore up her power base.

But some within the party are calling for her to go.

There is also said to be a level of disquiet among Conservatives about the link-up with the DUP which opposes same-sex marriage and abortion.

The Scottish Conservatives leader Ruth Davidson has telephoned the Prime Minister to demand assurances that she is not planning to ditch Tory commitments to LGBT rights in return for DUP votes in parliament.
