The Psychiatric Agenda Destroys Creative Children*

The Psychiatric Agenda Destroys Creative Children*

By Jon Rappoport

“Take a child who wants to invent something out of thin air, and instead of saying no, tell him he has a problem with his brain, and then stand back and watch what happens. In particular, watch what happens when you give him a toxic drug to fix his brain. You have to be a certain kind of person to do that to a child. You have to be, for various reasons, crazy and a career criminal.” (The Underground, Jon Rappoport)

First, here are a few facts that should give you pause:

According to NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness), “More than 25% of college students have been diagnosed or treated by a professional for a mental health condition within the past year.”

NAMI: “One in four young adults between the ages of 18 and 24 have [we claim] a diagnosable mental illness.”

According to healthline.com, 6.4 million American children between the ages of 4 and 17 have been diagnosed with ADHD. The average age for the child’s diagnosis is 7.

BMJ 2016;352:i1457: “The number of U.K. children and adolescents treated with antidepressants rose by over 50% from 2005 to 2012, a study of five Western countries published in European Neuropsychopharmacology has found.”

Getting the picture?

Children are being diagnosed and dosed with toxic drugs at a staggering rate.

But, as I have shown in many past articles, NO so-called mental disorder is based on a lab test. No blood, saliva, genetic, brain test. ALL 300 or so official mental disorders are defined by menus of behaviours concocted by committees of psychiatrists.

On that foundation, the diagnoses and the drugs are handed out.

Let’s look at just one of the drugs: Ritalin (or any similar ADHD medicine). After a creative child is seen fidgeting in class, looking bored, studying what he wants to study, ignoring classroom assignments, focusing on what interests him, he is diagnosed with ADHD. Then comes the drug.

In 1986, The International Journal of the Addictions published an important literature review by Richard Scarnati. It was called “An Outline of Hazardous Side Effects of Ritalin (Methylphenidate)” [v.21(7), pp. 837-841].

Scarnati listed a large number of adverse effects of Ritalin and cited published journal articles which reported each of these symptoms.

For every one of the following (selected and quoted verbatim) Ritalin effects, there is at least one confirming source in the medical literature:

  • Paranoid delusions
  • Paranoid psychosis
  • Hypomanic and manic symptoms, amphetamine-like psychosis
  • Activation of psychotic symptoms
  • Toxic psychosis
  • Visual hallucinations
  • Auditory hallucinations
  • Can surpass LSD in producing bizarre experiences
  • Effects pathological thought processes
  • Extreme withdrawal
  • Terrified affect
  • Started screaming
  • Aggressiveness
  • Insomnia
  • Since Ritalin is considered an amphetamine-type drug, expect amphetamine-like effects
  • Psychic dependence
  • High-abuse potential DEA Schedule II Drug
  • Decreased REM sleep
  • When used with antidepressants one may see dangerous reactions including hypertension, seizures and hypothermia
  • Convulsions
  • Brain damage may be seen with amphetamine abuse.

Under this chemical assault on the brain, what are the chances that a creative child will go on in life to become an innovator, rather than a victim of psychiatric drugging?

Make a list of your favorite innovators. Imagine them as bored distracted children sitting in classrooms…and then diagnosed, and then hammered with drugs prescribed by a doctor.

This is happening now.

The institution of psychiatry is making it happen.

What about the consequences of diagnosing clinical depression in larger numbers of young children? What about the antidepressant drugs?

Here is just a sprinkling of information about antidepressants, from a huge body of literature:

Psychiatrist Peter Breggin: February 1990 American Journal of Psychiatry (Teicher et al, v.147:207-210) reports on “six depressed patients, previously free of recent suicidal ideation, who developed ‘intense, violent suicidal preoccupations after 2-7 weeks of fluoxetine [Prozac] treatment.’ The suicidal preoccupations lasted from three days to three months after termination of the treatment. The report estimates that 3.5% of Prozac users were at risk. While denying the validity of the study, Dista Products, a division of Eli Lilly, put out a brochure for doctors dated August 31, 1990, stating that it was adding ‘suicidal ideation’ to the adverse events section of its Prozac product information.”

An earlier study, from the September 1989 Journal of Clinical Psychiatry, by Joseph Lipiniski, Jr., indicates that in five examined cases people on Prozac developed what is called akathesia. Symptoms include intense anxiety, inability to sleep, the “jerking of extremities,” and “bicycling in bed or just turning around and around.” Dr. Peter Breggin comments that akathesia “may also contribute to the drug’s tendency to cause self-destructive or violent tendencies … Akathesia can become the equivalent of biochemical torture and could possibly tip someone over the edge into self-destructive or violent behavior … The June 1990 Health Newsletter, produced by the Public Citizen Research Group, reports, ‘Akathesia, or symptoms of restlessness, constant pacing, and purposeless movements of the feet and legs, may occur in 10-25 percent of patients on Prozac.'”

The well-known publication, California Lawyer, in a December 1998 article called “Protecting Prozac,” details some of the suspect maneuvers of Eli Lilly in its handling of suits against Prozac. California Lawyer also mentions other highly qualified critics of the drug: “David Healy, MD, an internationally renowned psychopharmacologist, has stated in sworn deposition that ‘contrary to Lilly’s view, there is a plausible cause-and-effect relationship between Prozac’ and suicidal-homicidal events. An epidemiological study published in 1995 by the British Medical Journal also links Prozac to increased suicide risk.”

When pressed, proponents of these SSRI antidepressant drugs (Prozac, Zoloft, Paxil, etc.) sometimes say, “Well, the benefits for the general population far outweigh the risk.” But the issue of benefits will not go away on that basis. A shocking review-study published in The Journal of Nervous and Mental Diseases (1996, v.184, no.2), written by Rhoda L. Fisher and Seymour Fisher, called “Antidepressants for Children,” concludes:

“Despite unanimous literature of double-blind studies indicating that antidepressants are no more effective than placebos in treating depression in children and adolescents, such medications continue to be in wide use.”

In wide use. This despite such contrary information and the negative, dangerous effects of these drugs.

There are other studies: “Emergence of self-destructive phenomena in children and adolescents during fluoxetine treatment,” published in the Journal of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (1991, vol.30), written by RA King, RA Riddle, et al. It reports self-destructive phenomena in 14% (6/42) of children and adolescents (10-17 years old) who had treatment with fluoxetine (Prozac) for obsessive-compulsive disorder.

July, 1991. Journal of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Hisako Koizumi, MD, describes a thirteen-year-old boy who was on Prozac: “full of energy,” “hyperactive,” “clown-like.” All this devolved into sudden violent actions which were “totally unlike him.”

September, 1991. The Journal of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Author Laurence Jerome reports the case of a ten-year old who moves with his family to a new location. Becoming depressed, the boy is put on Prozac by a doctor. The boy is then “hyperactive, agitated … irritable.” He makes a “somewhat grandiose assessment of his own abilities.” Then he calls a stranger on the phone and says he is going to kill him. The Prozac is stopped, and the symptoms disappear.

For money, for profit, for status, for control, there exists a professional class called psychiatrists. They approach children—particularly creative children who refuse to fall into lock-step with a regimented program of learning—as outliers, as ill, as strange, as maladjusted, as threats to the system. And this professional class takes action. Diagnose the children, drug them, bring them back into line, make them “normal,” reduce their curiosity and independence and drive and will power.

Instead of using overt physical force, they use relatively invisible chemical force.

Under the banner of caring, they perform, on the young, a scientific ritual of sacrifice, a rite of passage into the dead world where they, the elite rulers, exist.

Ancient Aleppo Citadel Hosts Carnival for Schoolchildren*

Residents of the Syrian city of Aleppo have organized a carnival in the city’s ancient Citadel, a medieval fortified structure in the centre of the Old City which only months earlier had been the site of intense fighting between the Syrian Army and jihadist militants.

The carnival, which before the war was celebrated annually to mark the end of school exams, has been restored after a five year hiatus, becoming a symbol of peace and life in the Aleppo’s historic Old City.

The carnival, featuring costumes, food, song, dance, and performances, took place at Aleppo’s Citadel, a UNESCO World Heritage Site which is considered one of the oldest and largest castles in the world, its use going back to at least the 3rd century BC.

Russian media report on the carnival

Amid the fight for the city beginning in 2012, the Citadel was briefly occupied by militants. Liberated by the Syrian Army in 2013, the ancient structure was surrounded by jihadists for several years before the entire city’s liberation by government forces last year. The militants dug tunnels under the Citadel to try and capture it, and fighting for the castle caused significant damage.

This year, she said, “we are celebrating the beginning of the restoration of the ancient city; this celebration symbolizes the beginning of a peaceful life for the city’s residence – without bomb explosions and constant fear.”

The celebrations were temporarily interrupted by a power cut. Nevertheless, people were not in any hurry to go home.

Muhammad Akri, a local student, told journalists that Aleppo residents have become accustomed to power shortages over five years of occupation by the militants.

“For us, it doesn’t matter whether we have electricity or not. Everyone is just happy that the city has finally been freed from the sound of exploding shells,” he said.

Muhammad emphasized that Aleppo’s residents are determined to help repair and restore the historic Old City as soon as possible, but added that everyone is aware that this may take decades.

It is estimated that up to 80% of Aleppo’s Old City has suffered damage thanks to the war. It is estimated that restoration efforts may cost up to $35-40 billion U.S. Officials hope funds for restoration will be collected from generous donors from around the world. In early June, the National Museum in the Czech Republic signed an agreement with the Syrian Department of Museums and Antiquities to allocate about 1.5 million euros from the Czech side for restoration efforts.

Teens with No Engineering Experience Invent Solar Tent for Homeless, Win Grant from MIT*

Due to a flailing economy, homelessness is on the rise in cities such as Los Angeles. Fortunately, a new innovation developed by students at San Fernando High School may help those who are stranded on the streets — at least until a more permanent solution is presented.

Bored Panda reports that with absolutely no experience, a group of young females invented a solar-powered tent that rolls up into a backpack. Together, the 12 females were recruited by DIY Girls, a non-profit organization that empowers young women from low-income families in LA to pursue fields in technology and engineering. Overseeing the project was executive director of DIY Girls, Evelyn Gomez.

The girls primarily used YouTube videos and information found via Google searches to produce a tent that offers major benefits to homeless individuals. Throughout the process, they learned skills such as sewing, coding and 3D printing.

Fortunately, their hard work paid off. Not only did they win the world’s respect, the team won a $10,000 grant from the Lemelson-MIT program. In result, they will present their invention at MIT’s EurekaFest on June 16th. Because the high school students come from low-income families, they almost couldn’t afford the trip. Compassionate strangers, friends, and family members, however, donated to a GoFundMe campaign that raised over $18,000. Now they can go and enjoy their time in the well-deserved spotlight.

It’s a deserved victory for the twelve teenagers who are making a positive difference in the lives of others.

British PM Theresa May Says Paedophiles Should Be Allowed To Adopt Children Too*

British PM Theresa May Says Paedophiles Should Be Allowed To Adopt Children Too*

With Theresa May on seriously shaky ground as the current Conservative leader and British Prime Minister, details of an executive order she made that would give more rights to child abusers, has come to light.

May had ordered a review of current legislation that would prevent paedophiles from adopting children claiming that it was a “breach of their human rights”.

The order spurred on by the late Helen Reece who was a reader in family law at the London School of Economics, who supported the then-Home Secretary’s policy on relaxing the law for child rapists because “they have the right to build a family unit like everybody else”.

One of May’s arguments for the change in policy was that although pedophilia is on the rise, the number of pedophiles that murder children was “still quite low”.

Speaking about the proposed changed, leading legal academic Reece said that blocking sex offenders from working with children was also “unfair”. She also stated that rape victims should no longer be granted anonymity in trials against sex offenders as it gives defendants a “disadvantage”.

Telegraph reports: In an article in the respected Child and Family Law Quarterly, Miss Reece suggested that reoffending rates were not high among sex criminals, adding: “despite growing public concern over paedophilia, the numbers of child sex murders are very low.”

The review was introduced to the Vetting and Barring Scheme, following the 2002 Soham murders, amid concerns by ministers that it is too heavy handed.

As well as banning certain offenders, the law currently requires adults coming into regular contact with children other than their own to be screened.

Mrs. May ordered the review amid concerns about the vetting of ordinary volunteers such as parents who drive children to football practice and church flower arrangers.

In her article, Miss Reece suggested that the review should also introduce an assumption that sex offenders including child abusers posed no threat once they had served their sentence.

She said: “There is no reason why all sex offenders should not be considered as potentially suitable to adopt or foster children or work with them.”

“The Vetting and Barring Scheme and other legislative measures single out sex offenders for unfair special treatment and they destroy the principle that a prisoner pays his or her debt by serving their sentence before re-entering society on equal terms.”

“Individuals are placed on the “Barred List” and banned from working with youngsters or vulnerable adults if they are convicted of a sexual or violent offense, or one involving the mistreatment of a child.”

Miss Reece criticized the rules for leading all sex offenders to be “tarred with the same brush,” saying that while “careful screening” was “important,” the issuing of a “blanket ban” violated the rights of criminals who wanted to adopt or work with young people.

She highlighted the case of a grandfather with a conviction for having sex with a 15-year-old dating back to when he was 29, who was refused permission to adopt his own grandchildren.

The ban could contravene the principle of non-discrimination enshrined in the European Convention on Human Rights, and may leave the Government open to legal challenge, Miss Reece warned.

Comparing sex offenders to cohabiting couples, she suggested that if blanket bans on the former were allowed, it would make sense to bar those who were not married from adopting because parents who were wed were less likely to separate with harmful consequences for the child.

She also highlighted the case of four nurses who recently won a High Court challenge after being barred for having convictions. One of the nurses was banned over a police caution for leaving her own children alone in their home.”

Rather than presuming that everyone is a potential risk to children and must, therefore, be vetted, any vetting or barring should be based on very strong evidence that they are a risk,” the academic said.

“This would represent a victory not only for human rights but for protecting the best interests of children.”

Miss Reece has been at the LSE since September 2009, having previously worked at the University of London, University College London, and Birkbeck College.

A trained barrister, she has an MSc in logic and scientific method and was awarded the Socio-Legal Studies Association Book Prize in 2004 for a monograph called “Divorcing Responsibly”.

She has also argued that rape victims should no longer be granted anonymity. A Home Office spokesman said:

“It is safe to say that the vetting review will not be considering allowing paedophiles to adopt. It wouldn’t exactly go down well with the public.”

“The review is very much focused on seeing whether the rules have gone too far in stopping. volunteering with children, while continuing to carry out criminal records checks on people in sensitive posts, such as in the NHS.”

Italian Government to Remove Unvaccinated Children From Parents*

Italian Government to Remove Unvaccinated Children From Parents*

By Baxter Dmitry

Major demonstrations have rocked Italy this past week as the government attempts to pass a new law that will triple the number of mandatory vaccinations for Italian children and threatens to remove unvaccinated children from their parents.

Lorenzin cancel your law, we are not your herd,” tens of thousands of Italians chanted at a protest in Rome, holding banners decrying government overreach into their homes and the health of their children.

The march in Rome, the largest in the country, is believed to be the biggest free-vaxxer event in world history. They were gathering to protest the proposed law that will raise the number of mandatory vaccines received by Italian children from four to 12.

The law, proposed by Minister of Health, Beatrice Lorenzin, will become effective unless the Italian Parliament saves the day and blocks the new legislation.

Protests agains mandatory vaccinations in various cities throughout Italy during the past week (June 2017).

Under the draconian new law, Italian children who have not received the full schedule of 12 mandatory vaccinations will lose their right to attend school, the parents will be fined up to 7,500 euros ($8396), and in case the Italian government had not already made it clear they are completely in the pockets of Big Pharma, they also announced that unvaccinated children will be taken away by local child protective services.

But Italians of all stripes are rising up in defiance of the new law. Politicians, associations, doctors, lawyers, and parents came together for the first time on the streets of Rome to make their voices heard.

One protestor shared a heart-rending account of his difficulties raising a vaccine damaged child in Italy:

I am here as a parent, as a parent of a child who, unfortunately, has been damaged by a hexavalent vaccine. I am a parent who has tried to follow the path of the law and I have found myself in front of shameful situations, when the state courts consider vaccine injured kids as, allow me to say, the town’s idiots, the losers.”

The protestors want freedom of choice regarding vaccines, informed consent, the constitution of an independent committee for vaccine research, and objective data about reactions. They are not content to blindly rely on the word of Big Pharma and government when it comes to the health of their children.

Two doctors have been struck off this year in Italy over their refusal to work as Big Pharma shills and a further 24 doctors are being investigated for declaring that vaccines are not always harmless.

Is this the start of a medical revolution in Italy? A worldwide movement against the profit-driven interests of Big Pharma and government corruption is beginning to gain traction. It is up to you to help spread the word.

Growing anger over blaze is putting more pressure on the U.K. Prime Minister Theresa May.

Protesters have stormed Kensington Town Hall in west London during a protest to demand ‘justice’ for the victims of Wednesday’s Grenfell Tower Fire.

Crowds were heard chanting ‘shame on you’ outside the headquarters.

Protesters pushed their way through an automatic door shouting ‘We want justice!’ and ‘Killers!’ as they clashed with security guards in the lobby of the building.

Londoners have organised another rally for the victims, at least 30 people were killed and dozens more are still missing.

A Facebook event, “Justice for Grenfell!” is also being held outside the capital’s Department for Communities and Local Government.

The city’s mayor Sadiq Khan was heckled by an angry crowd demanding answers at the scene on Friday, and there are fears that tensions could escalate.

In a letter to Prime Minister Theresa May, Khan wrote that the community affected by the fire was “increasingly angry” and felt “their grief has been made worse” by the poor government response to the tragedy.

“As the Mayor of London, I will continue to fight alongside this community to ensure they get the support and answers they deserve and justice done,” Khan wrote.

The death toll from Wednesday’s fire has risen to 30 confirmed fatalities. 24 people are still in hospital and 12 of them in critical care, according to the police.

May made a private visit the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital which is treating eight survivors on Friday afternoon, after being heavily criticized for attending the site but not meeting the Tower block’s residents.

Queen Elizabeth II, the opposition Labour party leader Jeremy Corbyn and Khan have all met the block’s former residents during their visits.

“She wanted an entirely controlled situation in which she didn’t use her humanity,” former cabinet minister Michael Portillo told the BBC.

“She should have been there with the residents. You have to be prepared to receive people’s emotions, and not be so frightened about people.”

May met police and firefighters at the West London site on Thursday, to receive a briefing from the emergency services. She later appeared on TV announce a public inquiry into the blaze.

Scotland Yard has launched a criminal inquiry as it emerged that the type of cladding panels used on the building have been widely prohibited on tall structures in the U.S. since 2012 because of its flammability.

Jeremy Corbyn and Labour leadership has proposed that the unused vacant homes owned by overseas investors in the wealthy areas of Kensington and Chelsea be utilized to house the victims of the Grenfell Tower fire. “The ward where this fire took place is, I think, the poorest ward in the whole country and properties must be found — requisitioned if necessary — to make sure those residents do get rehoused locally,” the Labour leader said. In contrast to the working-class neighborhood in which the fire occurred, Corbyn noted that the nearby “south part of Kensington is incredibly wealthy, its the wealthiest part of the whole country.”
