Iran Shows Truth Wins Out!

Iran Shows Truth Wins Out

Rouhani The 68th Session of the General Assembly of the United Nations

Big changes do happen…

PRESS TV: The engine for this dramatic change was Iran’s diplomatic thrust. Iranian President Dr. Hassan Rouhani delivered a speech to the assembly that enthralled those willing to listen while leaving detractors reeling from their own inadequacy.

Rouhani’s address was a paragon of rational argument that reinforced humane values of respect and equality.

Yet he laid blame firmly on the causes and protagonists of conflict, whether in Palestine, Iraq or Syria. In sum, the Iranian president rejected militarism and warmongering as an archaic blunt and immoral instrument, and he offered a hopeful way forward from conflict based unequivocally on equality and respect.

“Militarism and the recourse to violent and military means to subjugate others are failed examples of the perpetuation of old ways in new circumstances,” said Rouhani.

The bottom-line was that he successfully conveyed Iran is a peaceful nation that threatens no one, and is willing to join with others in creating a peaceful world, including the removal of all weapons of mass destruction.

American and Israeli warmongers were left grappling vainly for detractions.
“Iran has come here to cheat the world,” said an Israeli official, whose grudging sounded paranoid and fatuous.

The trouble for these American and Israeli warmongers and hate-filled psychopath politicians is that we now live in a world of instant global communications where ordinary people can hear the words of others without them being warped and poisoned.

Even the American mainstream media had to give the Iranian leader a fair hearing because, with many alternative sources of information to serve as verification, to not give a fair hearing would expose such media as disreputable agents of disinformation. With the traditional Western media’s credibility at an all-time low among the public, they can’t afford to lose any more respect.

But it was Rouhani’s personal style of calm reason and erudition that won the day. Anyone with an open mind had to be impressed by his cogent appeal for peace and a better world free of conflict.

“People all over the world are tired of war, violence and extremism. They hope for a change in the status quo,” he said, adding, “In recent years, a dominant voice has been repeatedly heard: ‘The military option is on the table.’ Against the backdrop of this illegal and ineffective contention, let me say loud and clear that ‘peace is within reach.’”

The only way to counter such reasonable politics is to resort to calumny and propaganda. But Rouhani had that covered too when he warned against those who create “imaginary enemies” and the fictitious “Iranian threat.”

The case for Iran to be treated with respect, without aggression, and to be allowed to avail of its national rights, including peaceful nuclear technology, resonates with world public opinion. People, and the American people in particular, are fed up with baseless aggression whether in the form of militarism abroad or, significantly, economic austerity at home. The significance is that people have made the structural connection between these two aberrations. People are realizing that their personal suffering is related to the way the rest of the world is suffering. It is the common condition of the bankrupt capitalist system and all its predations.

The days when the public could be misled by a warmongering elite are rapidly waning. People can see through the self-serving lies and fabrications and are intolerant of this obnoxious mindset. The people want a totally new arrangement of doing things, to overturn an economy based on exploitation and oppression and warmongering, to be replaced by a more ethical, efficient and equitable system, one that is democratic, not despotic.

In this past week, there was a profound sense of common ground for change, where Iran’s appeal was in synchronicity with international public opinion.

The contrast between Rouhani’s speech to the UN and US President Barack Obama’s was telling. The Iranian leader’s sentiments and aspirations seemed on the crest of a wave – the wider feelings of ordinary people all over the planet – while Obama sounded like someone left behind, thrashing around in a bygone era.

Rouhani listened to the other intently; whereas Obama cleared off from the assembly hall.

Obama’s speech was full of American self-importance and self-justification. It was a subjective parody of history and conflict in which the US is always portrayed as the “good guy.” Unlike Rouhani, Obama did not present supporting facts and objective rationale. It was a propaganda stunt to cover US militarism and illegal wars with a veneer of legitimacy.

Out of Obama’s mouth came not an appeal from the heart for absolute human equality and peace, but rather hackneyed propaganda to excuse US aggression and superiority towards the rest of the world.

“We will dismantle terrorist networks that threaten our people,” said Obama with earnest fakery that is so obvious now it is pathetic.

“Wherever possible, we will build the [terrorist] capacity of our partners, [dis] respect the sovereignty of nations, and work to address [promote] the root causes of terror. But when it’s necessary to defend the United States against [imaginary] terrorist attack, we will take direct action [mass murder].” (Words/letters in brackets added.)

All that and more from Obama is so anachronistic, old school now. What American people and the rest of the world realize more than ever is that the US under its bankrupt economic system does not have international relations. It has predatory, hegemonic instincts that fuel relentless massive violence – all for the enrichment of its banking and corporate elite.

And, what’s more, people realize the inextricable link between the US elite’s aggression abroad and its economic and police-state aggression at home.
The US president declared to the UN delegates, “The United States of America is prepared to use all elements of our power, including military force [state terrorism], to secure our [ruling elite’s] core interests [obscene capitalist profit].” (Words/letters in brackets added.)

In the past, such American blandishments and bluster may have been possible – but not any more. People everywhere across the globe can read what’s inside the parenthesis when official America speaks now.

And the people know the latter is a twisted mouthpiece to disguise destructive interests.

The appeal for reason by Iran is very much chiming with the people of the world. The American elite and their warmongering allies in Britain, France and Israel, among others, know that they are up against a powerful wave of reason and noble sentiment. That is why Obama had to abruptly swerve from the US war plan towards Syria and why the warmonger instincts have been tempered to try the diplomatic route.

US military power is still a dangerous force, especially at this historical juncture of economic collapse. War is therefore always a danger, and diplomacy, peace and justice are far from assured. But the people of Iran are finding a new ally – the rest of the world.

That is because the enemy is one and the same, destructive elitist system, and because the truth is winning out.

President Rouhani’s speech at the United Nations General Assembly

“Aggressive moves have been devastating almost nowhere in the world as grave as they have been in West of Asia and North of Africa,” he said.

“Military intervention in Afghanistan, Saddam Hussein’s imposed war against Iran, occupation of Kuwait, military intervention against Iraq and aggressive and suppressive behavior against the people of Palestine, assassination of political personalities and ordinary people in Iran and bomb explosions in regional countries like Iraq, Afghanistan and Lebanon are examples of the aggressive moves during the past three decades in this region,” the president noted.

“The way the oppressed people of Palestine are being treated is nothing but systematic aggression. The territory of Palestine is occupied. The basic rights of the Palestinians are catastrophically breached and they are deprived of (the right to) return to their home, their birth place, and access to motherland. The criminal acts observed against the innocent people of Palestine are putting on display materialized aggression in describing which the word apartheid is too weak a world,” President Rouhani added.

Focusing on Syria, Dr.Rouhani noted, “The human catastrophe in Syria is a painful sample of the catastrophic expansion of aggression and extremism in our region. Ever since the beginning of the crisis when some of the regional and international players began pouring weaponry and information and strengthening the extremist groups and militarizing that crisis, we emphasized that the Syrian crisis has no military solution.”

He added, “It is not possible to pursue strategic and expansionist objectives and disturb regional balances and equations by hiding behind humanitarian words.”

“The shared objective of the international community must be to put an end to the massacre of the innocent people. While denouncing any kind of use of chemical weapons, we welcome Syria’s acceptance of the chemical weapons ban convention and believe the extremist and terrorist groups access to these weapons is the greatest threat with which the region is faced and must be heeded,” said Dr.Rouhani.

“Meanwhile, illegal and incompetent resorting to threats, or use of force only leads to expansion of aggressions and crises in the region,” said the president.

He said that terrorism and killing the innocent people is the peak of extremism and aggression.

“Terrorism is a harsh nuisance that is all-encompassing and knows no borders. But meanwhile aggressions and extremism under the title of campaign against terrorism, including taking advantage of drones against innocent people, too, is condemned,” President Rouhani said.

President Rouhani said, “I have to speak about the assassination of the Iranian nuclear scientists here by the criminals. What was their crime for which they were targeted by the terrorists? The question we must ask the United Nations and the Security Council is whether the terrorists were condemned?”

“We should not forget millions of Iraqis who were harmed and killed by sanctions imposed on them under the legal guise prescribed by bodies and still a considerable number of them have to suffer throughout the world,” said President Rouhani.

President underlined that these sanctions are violent and they do not have smart or non-smart or unilateral or multilateral.

“These sanctions violate the inalienable human rights, including right to peace, right to development, right to access health, right to education and more importantly right to live,” President Rouhani said.

The Iranian president underlined that the outcome of these sanctions will be warmongering and destruction of humans.

“Iran is looking for solution to problems and not creating problems,” President Rouhani reiterated.

President Rouhani said that the flames of sanctions do not only affect the victims of sanctions, but it is also harmful for the economy and life of the people of the societies of the countries that have imposed sanctions.

“Let me point to Iran’s nuclear case, as Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution (Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei) has put it admitting Iran’s natural, legal and inalienable right is the easiest way to resolve this issue. This is not a political motto, but it is based on a deep knowledge of Iran’s nuclear technology, the international conditions … and the necessity for finding common goals and interests for reaching a common understanding and common security,’ he added.

The Iranian president said that in other words, Iran and other regional players should pursue two common objectives as two inseparable parts of political solution to Iran’s nuclear case.

“In these years a dominant voice has been heard repeatedly: “military option is on the table. But allow me today to say that instead peace is within reach. Therefore, in the name of the Islamic Republic of Iran and as a first step I propose the UN to put on its agenda the plan for ‘world against aggression and extremism,” President Rouhani said.

President Rouhani encouraged the entire countries, international organizations, and civil foundations to organize new efforts aimed at leading the world towards peace and security.

He underlined that Instead of the incompetent coalition for war in different parts of the world we need to concentrate on coalition for sustainable peace, throughout the world.

“Today the Islamic Republic of Iran is calling on you and on the entire international community to take a step forward; inviting the mankind against aggression and extremism. We must accept (responsibility) and open a horizon here today in which peace would replace war, understanding would replace aggression, advancement would replace bloodshed, justice would replace discrimination, welfare would replace poverty, and freedom would prevail all over the world instead of despotism,” said President Rouhani.

He recited a verse by the internationally renowned Iranian poet, Ferdowsi, who said: Try your best to do well; to be the harbinger of spring when you see chilly weather.

He said that despite the entire problems, I am deeply hopeful for a bright future.

“If there would be a global coalition against aggression and extremism, I would have no doubt that we would have a bright future before us. Moderate approach would brighten up the world. My hope, in addition to my personal and national experience, takes roots in the shared belief of the entire divine faiths that believe the eventual faith of the world is brightness and wellbeing of the mankind.”

President Rouhani ended his UN address reciting a holy Qur’anic verse:

{And We wrote in David’s Book that the blessed would be the inheritors of the Earth.}

Turkey Okays approval of Israel’s status in NATO: Report*

Turkish students hold a poster with photos of Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan (L), US President Barack Obama (C) and German Chancellor Angela Merkel looking like Adolf Hitler, during an anti-NATO protest on December 21, 2012 in Ankara.

NATO has reportedly agreed to increase Israel’s participation in its activities in 2013 after Ankara eased its opposition to the move following the alliance’s approval of the deployment of Patriot missiles to Turkey.

Citing Israeli officials, Jerusalem Post reported on Sunday that “the approval had come as Turkey’s request that NATO station Patriot missile batteries along its border with Syria was granted, leading them to assess that NATO was using the deployment as leverage to induce Ankara to thaw its relations with Israel.”

Israel, a NATO partner participating in seminars, exercises and training courses, has been requesting to increase its role in the military alliance but it was met with an objection from Turkey, a full NATO member.

“At the last minute – and I think it was dependent on the Patriots – it was approved,” said one Israeli official on condition of anonymity.

The Israeli official also said that Israel’s approval for participation in the 2013 work plan and other traditional NATO activities “is not a total solution” to tensions between Israel and Turkey.

The report added that Israel is seeking to improve its status in NATO, but Tel Aviv fears about the opposition of Turkey which enjoys veto power as decision-making in the alliance is conducted by consensus.

NATO officials have been pushing to improve the Israel-Turkey ties that were soured after the Mavi Marmara flotilla incident in 2010, according to Post.

“We would like the issue to be resolved sooner rather than later,” a NATO official said on condition of anonymity. “For the time being we’re trying to find ways to keep the conversation going with Israel.”

NATO has approved of Turkey’s request for the deployment of Patriot surface-to-air missiles in its territory.

The agreement emerged from a meeting of NATO foreign ministers in Brussels on December 4 despite strong opposition from Russia, Syria and Iran.

On December 14, US Defense Secretary Leon Panetta signed orders to authorize the plan to deploy Patriot missile batteries and about 400 troops to Turkey following the announcement of a similar move by Germany.

Malians Protest in Support of What Government*

Malians Protest in Support of What Government*

Hundreds of Malians have taken to the streets in the capital Bamako to support the government which encounters a rebellion in the northern part of the crisis-hit West African country Press TV reports

The protest happened five days after the United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon warned against a hasty military intervention in northern Mali, saying it could lead to a humanitarian crisis as if there isn’t one already!
“I am profoundly aware that if a military intervention in the north is not well conceived and executed, it could worsen an already fragile humanitarian situation and also result in severe human rights abuses,” Ban said, which is telling in itself

On October 13, the UN Security Council unanimously adopted a resolution that gave the AU and the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) 45 days to present the details of a plan for a military intervention in Mali.

Chaos broke out in the West African country when Malian President Amadou Toumani Toure was toppled in a military coup on March 22. The coup leaders said they mounted the coup in response to the government’s inability to contain the two-month-old Tuareg rebellion in the north of the country.

However, in the wake of the coup d’état, the Tuareg rebels took control of the entire northern desert region, but the Ansar Dine extremists pushed them aside and wrested control of all the northern desert regions.

What is missing frm the picture is that Amadou Sanogo, the Malian army captain who overthrew the civilian government in the wake of the Tuareg offensive, was trained by the U.S. military. Sanogo attended the Defense Language Institute in 2005 and 2007, a U.S. Army intelligence program in 2008, and an officer-training course in 2010. At least that explains Ban Ki Moons response and prior warning, and why hundreds and not thousands are not making a rallying call!

“This coup d’état cannot be justified, all the more so in that it has come about on the eve of an election that would have permitted the election of a new president,” said the Party for National Renaissance, in a statement from its president, Tiébilé Dramé, a former foreign minister. “It has set us back decades.”

The U.S and UN are adept at setting countries back decades, so why Mali?

Once famed for its popular trade route Timbuktu, Mali could still serve as much again but in the interest of the trade arm of global governance, providing easy means of transporting exploited natural resources out of Africa to the West. In fact the sovereign wealth has become just as important as before to colonial players in the international financial system the flow of which this time round would be more concentrated in favour of the global elite.

In addition there are the natural resources of Mali itself though badly managed due to corruption and coups, which provides a golden opportunity for Western exploitation – Ghana and Mali together account for 5.8% of total world gold production!

Though seemingly insignificant, gold is gold and the new financial system designed to ensure that wealth flows to the global elite is built upon gold! However there is a little problem with credibility. This would help to feather the nest of the global fund crisis at least until that runs out again!

The Truth Behind Benghazi Massacre*

The Truth Behind Benghazi Massacre

By Stephen Lendman

Washington bears full responsibility for waging multiple wars on humanity. It planned, initiated and controls direct and proxy conflicts across North Africa, the Middle East and Central Asia.

Bani Walid made headlines for three weeks. Genocide threatens its residents. Obama’s dirty hands are all over this crime of war and against humanity. Media scoundrels ignore it.

America’s proxy war on Syria continues. Washington’s directly responsible for recruiting, arming, funding and directing Syrian death squads.

On October 24, Voice of Russia reported that Russian Armed Forces chief General Nikolai Makarov said:

“The General Staff has information that the militants, who are fighting against Syrian government troops, are armed with the portable air defence systems of various countries, including the Stinger of U.S. production.”

Disclaimers notwithstanding, Washington is directly responsible for supplying them. Makarov added:

“The US denies this fact. They say that they did not deliver anything to them (Syrian militants). However, we have reliable information that Syrian militants are armed with foreign portable air defence systems, including U.S. air defence systems.”

They didn’t arrive out of thin air. Voice of Russia said an “informed Syrian source” said “the US had made a decision to hand over a consignment of MANPADS to (anti-Assad) militants that are fighting against Damascus.”

Man-portable air defense systems (MANPADS) are shoulder-launched surface-to-air missiles (SAMs).

On October 24, Russia Today (rt.com) headlined “US blocks Russia’s draft statement in UN on peaceful resolution of Bani Walid violence,” saying:

Russia’s UN envoy, Vitaly Churkin, said the move “can’t be serious. Blocking a draft statement that called (for) solv(ing) the country’s political problems without violence is very strange.”

Not at all when Washington plans genocide to assert control. Churkin knows it but used diplomatic language. Russia’s statement called for “tak(ing) urgent steps to resolve the conflict by peaceful means and to preserve the rights of all Libyan citizens.”

On October 23, Russia Today (rt.com) headlined “Bani Walid civilians bombed with gas,” saying:

A Libyan national with family in Bani Walid told RT that pro-government militias “intercept food, fuel and medicine and use grad rockets and (poison) gas weapons against Bani Walid” residents.

Daily shelling threatens the city with genocide. It’s been ongoing throughout most of October. Bani Walid is surrounded and besieged. Many deaths and injuries occurred. One source claimed 600 killed in one day. Another 1,000 were hospitalized.

Fighting rages across the city. Civilian neighborhoods are targeted. Conditions are grave. Everything is in short supply. The hospital was attacked. It “cannot house all the injured, and power only appears for a couple of hours a day.”

A resident told RT that “militias want to eliminate us.” He remained anonymous for his safety. In an extended interview, he said:

“I have got a call from my family. They tell me the situation in Bani Walid is horrible. There is an awful attack with all kind of shooting and bombing everywhere in the city. The civilian buildings are falling down.”

“The situation in Bani Walid hospital is really bad. We don’t have a lot of medicine. We don’t have enough places for wounded civilians. Right now the hospital is keeping wounded people outside.”

“No family would leave Bani Walid. All the people in Bani Walid say the same words: ‘We’ll never go from our land.’ ”

“There are no Gaddafi people (in the city). Even a member of Libya’s National Transitional Council, after visiting Bani Walid, also said there were no Gaddafi people there.”

“What is happening there is a battle between (Bani Walid’s people) and Misrata (militias), which wants to eliminate Bani Walid from existence. They want to do to Bani Walid what they did in Tahoura.”

“There is almost no electricity. It only comes for two-three hours a day. It is three weeks that no food has been able reach Bani Walid as militias that surround the town are blocking the roads. They intercept food, fuel and medicine. There is no food inside Bani Walid, not even milk for kids, no necessities.”

“Two hundred of those militias died yesterday, and the bodies are still there. They even left their wounded people there and Bani Walid hospital is taking care of those wounded people.”

“Militias went inside the city, but they only went a few kilometers before getting kicked out. They used machine guns inside, and from outside they used grad rockets and gas weapons.”

“Actually we found gas masks and the hospital’s reports very clearly say that civilians in Bani Walid have been bombed with (poison) gas.”

“Moreover, when we took over the positions the militias of Misrata had been taking before being kicked out, the people of Bani Walid found there gas masks.”

“There are photos and videos of this. It’s the proof against those militias that they are using (toxic) gas against civilians. Why would you be using a gas mask if you go inside Bani Walid using only machine guns and normal rockets?”

“What Bani Walid is doing is self defense. When Bani Walid first fell during the days of the fight for Gaddafi, (militias) took away everything there was in the city: cars, money, gold….Then the people of the town said ‘It’s a fight for freedom, we have to go out,’ so they went out and their houses were robbed and destroyed. No one cared.”

“Right now the civilians in Bani Walid who are holding guns and fighting, they are fighting for their land which should not be taken from them. They just cannot go away.”

RT added that earlier reports said hospital patients “suffered from symptoms typical of gas intoxication.”

Healthy residents with no history of heart and lung diseases had difficulty breathing. They experienced increased heart rates, and suffered from muscle spasms. They also have blurred vision and intermittently fall unconscious.

Dr. Almahdi Azyadi told Russian Today:

“They’re really bombing. Many are reported to the hospitals because of the gas attacks, and it’s happening almost every day. The gas is toxic, and there are some injuries.”

Chemical weapons use is illegal. Washington and key NATO allies use them regularly. The 1907 Hague Convention banned them. WW I use of poison gas caused 100,000 deaths and about 900,000 injuries.

In the 1920s, Britain used poison gas against Iraqis. As Secretary of State for War, Winston Churchill advocated their use. In a secret memo he said, “I am strongly in favor of using poisoned gas against uncivilized tribes.”

In 1928, the Geneva Protocol prohibited gas and bacteriological warfare.

America uses chemical, biological, and other banned weapons in all its direct and proxy wars. No-holds barred state terror is policy. Body counts don’t matter. Media scoundrels maintain silence. Genocide goes on openly. They ignore it.

In 1989, 149 nations at the Paris Chemical Weapons Conference condemned use of these weapons. After committing itself to non-use, Washington continued development, production, and covert use. Biological and depleted uranium weapons are also used.

In 1997, America ratified the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC). It prohibits development, production, stockpiling, and use of these weapons. It also mandates their destruction.

Washington uses them freely. Huge chemical, biological and nuclear weapons stockpiles are maintained. New more dangerous weapons replace older ones.

CWC mandates non-complying nations be referred to the Security Council for action against them. America’s veto power precludes efforts to deter its lawlessness.

Currently, 188 State Parties are CWC signatories. They include Russia and China. Israel signed it in 1993, but hasn’t ratified it.

Chemical weapons include all toxic ones and their precursors able to cause death, injury, temporary incapacitation or sensory irritation. Munitions and other delivery devices are included.

Toxic substances are categorized as choking, blister, blood or nerve agents. Best known ones include choking chlorine and phosgene, mustard and lewisite blister agents (or vesicants), hydrogen cyanide blood agents, and sarin, soman and VX nerve agents.

Toxic chemicals used industrially are legal, despite their harmful effects. However, when used as weapons, they violate CWC provisions.

CWC’s purpose is to ensure toxic chemicals are produced only for purposes unrelated to weaponry in any form.

On October 24, RT headlined “Siege of Bani Walid, Day 20: ‘Militia committing genocide’ – RT source,” saying:

For three weeks, civilians have been killed “by toxic gas and heavy tank fire….(N)o resolution to the conflict (is) in sight.” Indiscriminate shelling continues.

Footage RT believes is reliable shows dead bodies, “women and children with missing limbs and disfigured faces.” A Libyan national in Egypt with relatives in Bani Walid told RT militias “are committing genocide.”

The city is surrounded and besieged. Essential supplies are blocked. People are starving. Medicines aren’t available to treat patients. Power is mostly off.

Militias “attack the city and are using heavy machinery to demolish houses. They are using internationally banned toxic gases against civilian people, and they bombard the population with tanks.”

They’re ordered “to kill all protesters. The city is blocked from all sides. There is no medicine, food, (or) humanitarian aid. There is nothing inside the city.”

“There is bloodshed in Bani Walid and nobody can hear the people inside the city” cry for help. Militia “guns come from the outside including from” France and Washington.

Major media reports are “lies and forgery. We plead for the humanitarian agencies of the world to help us save our families inside Bani Walid. The people need immediate help and an intervention from the outside.”

The UN did nothing. Washington blocked Russia’s attempt to help. UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon pathetically said “the international community is closely monitoring the situation.”

Instead of condemning Washington-led genocide, he called for peaceful resolution. UN spokesman Martin Nesirky said:

“The Secretary-General reminds all parties of their obligations under international humanitarian law. He calls on all the Libyan authorities and those in Bani Walid to begin immediately a process to resolve the Bani Walid stand-off peacefully.”

“The Secretary-General believes that the situation in Bani Walid can be resolved in a peaceful manner that preserves the rights of all Libyan citizens and permits the state to exercise its responsibilities there.”

What else would a committed imperial tool say. He’s part of the problem, not the solution. The world body does nothing to stop war, mass killing, destruction, and unspeakable human misery.

Late reports on Bani Walid are mixed. Some say fighting continues. Others say militias or government forces control the city. On October 25, RT headlined “Bani Walid’s fate unknown amid conflicting reports of govt, militia takeovers,” saying:

Libyan officials claim they control the city. Militias say they took over. Bani Walid is dying. A local activist called conditions “very difficult. The city is almost completely destroyed. Residents are buried in the rubble.”

Many are children and the elderly. Government officials lied saying toxic gases weren’t used. In southern parts of the city, resistance continues. It’s just a matter of time until enough human life is lost to eliminate remaining remnants.

One day, when Bani Walid’s true story is told, perhaps we’ll learn many thousands died. Many others suffered horrific injuries. Appalling human suffering won’t end soon.

Washington planned it that way. Its genocidal history claimed many millions of lives. Add Bani Walid to its odious resume.

A Final Comment

Mathaba estimates about 100,000 casualties since NATO formally announced its seven month Libyan mission ended last November. It claimed over 100,000 lives. Many more were injured and displaced.

Other disturbing Mathaba estimates include around one million Libyans forced into exile in the past year, and up to 20,000 held incommunicado as political prisoners. Many are subjected to torture and/or death.

Washington-led NATO turned Libya into charnel house hell. Obama bears full responsibility. He committed a Nuremberg level crime. Occupation harshness makes things worse.

A previous article said Jamahiriya Green Resistance remains strong. Frequent battles erupt. Tribes are involved. Local militias have their own agenda. Insurgents battle each other and Green Resistance for control. Government forces serve Washington and key NATO partners.

Libya will be remembered as one of history’s great crimes. Expect protracted killing, destruction and unspeakable human misery before it ends.

Media scoundrels claim Libya was liberated. Nothing is said about America’s imperial ravaging. It’s standard policy in all US direct and proxy wars. Human lives have no value. Dominance alone matters.

Mayans Call on UN for New Era of Peace!

Mayans Call on UN for New Era of Peace!

Taking advantage of the main underlying influence of 2012, the Mayan Elders of the K’iche’ Mayoral of Santo Tomas de Chichicastenango, Guatemala (Maya-Quiche Empire)  has been assisting the UN with a choice between continued unsustainable governance, to one of sustainability for all. To do that the Mayan Elders travelled to the UN headquarters to deliver their message as they regularly do, which is for the whole world!

As governmental forces spread doom and gloom usurping 2012, as a means to consolidate the fear that they have tried to control us with for many generations, such a message is important to those of us who operate on a vibration above fear, and for those of us who are procrastinating between what they have known, the fear-based society, and preparing for a more wholesome life!

On 25th October, the Mayan Elders led by Don Tomás Calvo, the highest moral authority of the Maya, delivered the message of their ancestors calling for the end of 2012 to begin a new era of harmony, peace, and joy. Don Tomás Calvo said:

“To you – representatives of the peoples who share our planet daily – I bring the voice of my people on my way towards the end of a period of time we call Oxlajuj B’aqtun and before the opening of a new era which we enter with joy and harmony,”

Thousands of years ago, Mayan astronomers foresaw in 2012 a unique alignment of the cosmos which occurs only once every 64,000 years. The Maya identified this new cycle, to begin on 21 December, as a monumental transition and an opportunity to realign priorities based on the principles of love, gratitude, care and respect for both humanity and our environment.

“For the Maya, ushering in a new cycle is a huge celebration,” said Don Tomás Calvo.

To help spread a message of hope to the world, the Mayan Elders have been conducting ceremonies and presentations in New York including at Central Park on Saturday, 27 October, at Sanctuary NYC on Sunday, 28 October, and at NYU’s Centre for Academic and Spiritual Life on Monday, 29 October.

According to the UN Refugee Agency the majority of Guatemalans are of Mayan descent. There are 21 different Mayan groups whose main languages are Q’eqchi, Cakchiquel, Mam (Maya), Tzutujil, Achi and Pokoman. Although removed from history books, the Mayans as we can see are still very alive, and live to tell the tale of genocide by the occupying Spanish colonialists, land dispossession in the 19th century with the ancient Mayan Empire stretching from , Belize, the western portions of Honduras, El Salvador, Yucatán, Quintana Roo, Tabasco, Campeche and Chiapas (Mexico). The Mayans also experienced genocides as recently as the 1980s. As agriculturalists they developed maize, beans and root crops, supplemented by fish and wild game. As economists they had vast trade networks. As God’s people, they had temples and religious centres that served superior functions than many today, and as scientists and people of literature, they developed writing, mathematics and astronomy for which they have become famous for in the Western world.

Since the colonial era, it was not until Article 66 of the 1985 Constitution that Mayans were officially recognized  including their language, traditional customs, and forms of social organization. However, that was officially, and 10 years on that was yet to materialize on the ground with the political and financial elite doing everything to maintain control, power, and wealth. However, this did not prevent a socio-cultural movement from developing amongst the Mayan focusing on land rights, cultural and civil rights, bilingual education, and the recognition of Mayan local authorities. In addition, Mayan academics collated historical Mayan documents. Along with the recognition of Mayan exile, Rigoberta Menchú through the 1992 Nobel Peace Prize, there was increased recognition as a people, and a level of protection from military repression. With the nation’s elite forced to recognize the indigenous Mayans, an accord was signed in 1995.

Civil participation improved, but with more death threats and abductions taking place in 2002-3, especially around those working to bring governmental officials and members of the military to trial over atrocities.

Issues still remain on all levels of society for the Mayans, but it is not a matter of gaining rights that are assumed to have been won in developed countries, for if the Mayans were indigenous to any of those countries, they would have still been in the same plight. Why? Because they represent a way of life that is God-centred, and centred in the laws of nature that recognizes economic distribution over centralized wealth, and respectful uses of land resources to the common good over the good of a few.

Our ability to cope with the changes to come is in relation to our level of fear – fear that arises out of painting reality as the one we have been given through global governance that has been in momentum since WWI. That ‘gift’ was a form of sacrifice without our consent and to a great degree  without us even knowing. That exchange has taken the form of promises of provisions through education, health and employment under the illusion that we would have greater control over our lives. The sacrifice on our part has been the human spirit, for the reality which has been subservient to without question costing billions of lives somewhere else on this Earth without ever understanding why there is growing dissatisfaction, dysfunctional relations/families, and societies in our midst.

A Herbal HIV-AIDS Treatment that Works!

A Herbal HIV-AIDS Treatment that Works!

By Hwaa Irfan

When I read about Gambian President Yahya Jammeh’s herbal remedy for HIV-AIDS it brought a smile to my heart – one of hope in a world dominated by power hungry politicians and their network of self interests. Reinvoking the traditional African concept of a leader who is the servant of the people would come as a very bitter pill to swallow for most politicians today, including Jammeh himself. How many of our world leaders actually have any skills that can be of direct benefit to members of their civilian population!  Too much for the likes of CNN which throws false hope over the idea, for if it is  false hope, it is one that President Jammeh (Sheikh Professor Alhaji Dr Yahya Jammeh) will have to live down. This comes at a time, when the West’s focus on African health comes in the form of population control as a condition for trade, and ‘specialized’ medical technology to address problems such as HIV-AIDS.

It is not the first time that cure claims have emanated from the the continent that the bioweapon has been aimed against, the proponents of which have been silenced by the might of the Western pharmaceutical industry. But the Gambia is a country I recall with very little Western medicine on the shelves of their pharmacies, and only nature to turn to.

And so it is that since 2007, 68 people have been SUCCESSIVELY treated through President Jammeh’s Presidential Alternative Medical Treatment Programme demonstrating the might of nature over the pharmaceutical industry, which in some cases have proliferated the spread of HIV-AIDS as in the case of South Africa.  Keeping the recipe secret – naturally,  the 7th batch of sufferers of both HIV and AIDS were discharged over the weekend. It was marked by a ceremony held at the State House marking the 5th year (plus 8 months and two weeks) since the treatment began. At the ceremony Jammeh  told the attendees:

President Jammeh, making the remedy himself

“The objective of my medication is to get rid of the virus that the patients are infected with and I have made it very clear since the start of my treatment programme. Five years ago, the West were saying that it would take twenty-five years to get a cure for HIV/AIDS but two years after I started the treatment, when we posted the results on the Internet, some people also claimed to have the cure for HIV/AIDS and their medicines also eliminate the virus from the patients’ body and today I have no doubt if I face any HIV/AIDS patient in critical condition, I can assure you that by the grace of Almighty Allah he would walk and go about his business as normal”As such, a long awaited initiative, which has been undertaken in such countries like India, is on the horizon for Gambians, the full integration of natural medicine in the countries health system.

“Because our salvation is when we go back to our natural pharmacists [forest], we will use western medicine as complementary to natural African medicine. In my treatment where my medicine cannot treat any disease, no western medicine can cure it,” Jammeh added.

“I am very grateful to the Almighty Allah and I am also grateful to the first batch of the treated HIV/AIDS patients because if they had not come forward and had listened to the prophets of doom, then the treatment wouldn’t have been possible because they were told a lot of things discouraging them from appearing on the television, which means they are committing suicide by coming to a treatment that they don’t know anything about.

Those who said that HIV/AIDS is not curable may be right because if you don’t know God and you believe that you descended from frog and you are not created by the Almighty Allah or you came to this world through evolution then you would not know that anything that happens in this world good or bad, Allah knows about it and has solutions about it. There is no disease that the Almighty Allah doesn’t know about and there is no disease without a cure.”

There goes African humor…

“Who am I to expect that everybody would praise me. But I thank Allah just as the Prophet Mohammad (SAW) prevailed and establish Islam which is the strongest religious today so have I also prevailed to cure HIV/AIDS to the point that 68 are being discharged today,” he added.

“This is the biggest jackpot we have ever won. As far as HIV is concerned, nobody can claim to know everything about it. The more you treat HIV/AIDS, the more you learn about it. I am not talking about those so-called professors who sit in the laboratory and call themselves HIV/AIDS experts when they don’t know anything about HIV/AIDS.

“It is sad that some of us Africans if God were to stand somewhere and call us to a meeting, some of us will still go and answer to the whites. What would I gain by claiming to do something which is so sensitive to humanity, painful to Africa for which every African today if you are going to the West they look at you and the first thing they think of, is whether you are HIV positive, such an insult to Africa”, he further stated.

Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Fatim Badjie

Jammeh admitted that the first and second batch was the most challenging

“We had a tough time with them. I used to spend 24hrs with them and some of them will even refuse to take medicine,” he said.

Jammeh thanked Allah, Gambians, non-Gambians and other institutions who have been sponsoring the treatment programme.

“May Allah reward you for your good deeds. It would have been very difficult to have the huge number of treated patients with different diseases without your support and I want to take this opportunity to thank all those who have come to attend especially those who went through the treatment program.”

Of those discharged Alhaji Beyai informed the gathering

“I want to tell you [the gathering] that the President’s treatment programme has efficacy in the treatment of HIV/AIDS. This is what I want to assure everybody and to ascertain that the treatment is effective and I would like to urge all and everyone present here, within and outside The Gambia who are not sure of their HIV/AIDS status to please come and join the president’s treatment programme.”

The World Health Organisation and the United Nations response has been of course one with alarm especially as patients are required to stop taking their anti-retroviral drugs, which according to them makes the patients prone to infection. However, fortunately, Jammeh is a notorious chaaracter, which in this sense, refuses to back down on a treatment that is offered free of charge, to greater dismay of pharmaceutical giants.

“As far as HIV is concerned, nobody can claim to know everything about it. The more you treat HIV/AIDS, the more you learn about it. I am not talking about those so-called professors who sit in the laboratory and call themselves HIV/AIDS experts when they don’t know anything about HIV/Aids.”

What can be said about the herbal remedy is that several herbal creams are applied and consumed over a number of weeks, along with prayers from the Holy Qur’an. If anyone knows about the healing energy of sound in meditation, then it will come across less like African witchcraft and more like using healing energy or Vibrational Medicine as it was once called. To assist the process, patients have to stop taking alcohol, tea, coffee, and haram activities that lower the vibration like sex, and theft.

Stereotypes

But the stereotypes of Africans still persists, as reflected by global governance media, CNN’s coverage.

“… a 3-year-old AIDS patient named Suleiman receives his daily dose of medication — a murky brown concoction of seven herbs and spices served out of a bottle that once contained pancake syrup.”

What is the color of health? It beats what they put in our vaccines, and then make it a criminal offense not to take it! Yet, CNN could not ignore Fatuma, the mother’s response who has also been taking the treatment:

It’s amazing,”

“Two weeks ago, I was very ill, weak and couldn’t eat without vomiting.”

CNN repeatedely uses the word “concoction” as in a witch’s brew in reference to the herbal remedy, and try to disqualify the results by referring to the UN envoy Fadzai Gwaradzimba, who was rightly kicked out of the country in February 2012 by demanding that patients should continue their UN recognized treatment and that the concoction should be “assessed by an international team of experts.”

Modern medicine despite all its innovations, is dependent on natural resources to develop their medicines. All around the world, herbal medicine was the first form of medicine, and when all esle fails remains to provide solutions. In recent years, countries like the U.K. and Australia have attempted to make forms of natural medicine illegal, especially forms of Traditional Cinese medicine, and homeopathy, because these forms cannot be patented and therefore profited from or controled! They put good health back in the hands of the people!

Ousman Sow, 54, said he’s been HIV-positive since 1996 and had been taking anti-retrovirals for the past fours years until he volunteered for this program.

Four weeks later, he said he’s gained 30 pounds and feels like a new person.

“I am cured at this moment,” he said.

Asked if he had any HIV symptoms, he responded, “No, I don’t. As I stand before you I can honestly tell you I have ceased to have any HIV symptoms.”

Patient after patient gave similar statements to CNN. But it was difficult to verify the authenticity of their testimony. The government claims to have scientific evidence, but it did not provide any to CNN.

Jammeh refused to speak to CNN for this report.

That is not surprising. The only thing to prove is the correctness of what one does to one’s self and to those one claims responsibility for, not to the likes of those who will do anything to disqualify one’s good deeds to those who do not at the heart of it have good intentions.

In the tiny African country of the Gambia with one hospital the Presidential Alternative Medical Treatment Programme has also treated infertility according to one of the physicians Dr. Mbowe as well as diabetes, and hypertension.  Nature always provides us with hope even when we mess up badly as we have done in all spheres of life.

India: Bill Gates Financing Untested Vaccines that Spread the Disease It Claims to Cure!

Philanthropist, Bill Gates has been at it again, in the field of biotechnology. This time, in India, his Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation has been busily financing a mass polio virus vaccination program in India.

The Salk oral vaccine causes the familiar polio paralysis, which are the same symptoms of non-polio acute flaccid paralysis, of which 47,000 cases were reported in 2011 in India alone.

The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation program in India was promoted as “The Last Mile: Eradicating polio in India.” The promotional video displayed numbers showing thousands of cases of polio in India decades ago, with the number of cases dropping to 42 by 2010. But it appears that wild polio virus stats have been traded for polio from vaccines and non-polio acute flaccid paralysis (NPAFP).

Salk vaccine contains SV-40 (Simeon virus 40), which comes from rhesus monkey kidney cells, but in recent times has been ‘evolved’ into genetically engineered DNA. Dr. Bernice Eddy of the National Institute of Healtg, Division of Biologics used to grow polio vaccines in 1961. This vaccine was then injected into hamsters, the result of which were tumors proving itself to be an animal carcinogen.

” ‘If you continue to allow these contaminated [polio] vaccines to go out, I guarantee you that over the next 20 years you will have epidemics of cancer unlike the world has ever seen’. – Bernice Eddy’s testimony to the U.S. Congress in 1972.”

In 2011, Dr. Robert Bell, former vice-President of the International Society for Cancer Research at the British Cancer Hospital has been reported to have said:

“The chief, if not the sole, cause of the monstrous increase in cancer has been vaccination.”

Dr. Maurice Hillerman, head of vaccines at the pharmaceutical giant Merck validated Eddy’s findings and confirmed that all vaccines produced by Merck contained cancer viruses, of which the hepatitis vaccine was the main cause of the AIDS epidemic in the U.S.

SV-40 is a GMO-DNA that cannot be removed from the human body. The uptake of this virus disturbs the coding of human DNA, therefore the recipient, and has been linked to surges in cancer that occurred in the 1950s. Removed by federal law from circulation.

With the support of UNICEF, World Bank and the Rotary Club, the GMO SV-40 lived on to fulfill its campaign slogan, :The Last Mile… to become the last mile for many who instead of being relieved from the risk of catching polio contracted polio from the vaccine. Instead of using the millions spent on playing with life through untested genetic engineering of DNA the money should be spent on the conduits of polio, poor sanitation and water supply, but this would improve the lot of far too many.

Now, India carries the burden of 47, 500 cases of polio paralysis as revealed by surveillance data, a direct result from walking the “Last Mile…” like the Gates malaria campaign in Africa. In 2010, the Gates polio program in 16 countries that were previously free of polio became infected (60%). These vaccines are oral not injected and therefore contain the live virus – is it therefore surprising that those who take the vaccine become infected!?
