Allah’s Medicine Chest: Vitamins and Minerals
Vitamins are invisible organic compounds made up of carbon and hydrogen. They can be found in all foods. Vitamins are essential for the metabolism of proteins, fats, and carbohydrates in order to form body tissues, and to provide the energy we need at the cellular level. In order for the correct absorption of vitamins by the body, vitamins should be obtained from the foods we eat although some vitamins are obtained from bacterial synthesis within the intestines, or the skin in the presence of sunlight/oils etc. Vitamins like all life are interdependent, and require the presence of other vitamins/minerals/metals within the body in order to facilitate its function. The liver, the largest organ in the human body is responsible for the storage and metabolism of vitamins. The bile from the liver is responsible for the absorption-metabolism of fat soluble vitamins.
Vitamin A is important for the formation of the bones, teeth, hair and skin, and helps in the repair of bodily tissues and organs, maintenance of night vision, the level of moisture in the mucous linings of the throat, nose, lungs, and mouth. Vitamin A is also important for the formation of rich blood, and helps the digestive system to assimilate proteins properly.
Zinc, calcium, and vitamin B complex help in the body’s ability to absorb vitamin A.
Alcohol, coffee, mineral oil and excessive iron intake cancels any benefit of vitamin A.

You actually make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this matter to be actually something which I think I would never understand.
It seems too complex and extremely broad for me.
I’m looking forward for your next post, I will try to get the hang of it!
Its simple as making sure you eat a variety of fresh foods (not imported because their perfect condition is a clue that it has been adulterated). Natural foods are the only way of ensuring the vitamins and minerals that are not alien to the proper workings of your body. Also avoid overcooking, and fried foods, which have no nutritional content. Variety is the key to ensuring a balanced diet. As your body adjusts, it will become more sensitive to what is not good for it, and you will be able to discern adulterated foods.

Today, I went to the beachfront with my children. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is entirely off topic but I had to tell someone!
