Italian President Signs 12 Vaccines as Mandatory…Protests Erupt!*

Italian President Signs 12 Vaccines as Mandatory…Protests Erupt!*

Italy is now pushing 12 vaccines, as opposed to the previous 4, on its people via a new mandate (law). And the President of Italy, Sergio Mattarella, has signed off on the legislation. This now thrust Italy into a new world of medical fascism. And the people have begun to revolt.

Worsening the situation, economist aren’t pleased with how the government intends to pay for the “free vaccines.” The 12 mandated vaccines will be covered under Italy’s universal health care and economist fear this will swell and already bloated national debt.

This new mandate is considered one of the fastest vaccine laws to ever be pushed through, writes Francesca Alesse of Vaxxed Italy.

“No other decree-law has moved so fast in the Italian legislative system, the reasons of such hurry are incomprehensible considering that the Istituto Superiore Di Sanità (the local version of the CDC) has declared that contrary to what stated in the decree itself there is no objective urgency. There are no epidemics, the number of cases of measles or meningitis in the current year have been substantially lower than the previous year.

Protest across Italy have been explosive, to say the least.

Italy, like most E.U. countries, can ill afford to place anymore strain on their economy.

Elisabetta Bressan, on Facebook, claims that pharmaceutical giant, GlaxoSmithKline, may have some major involvement in the Italian vaccine mandate.

Tens of Thousands March Across U.S. Demanding Donald Trump Release His Tax Returns*

Protesters took to the streets in midtown Manhattan and dozens of U.S. cities on April 15, coinciding with the traditional deadline for U.S. federal tax returns (this year the filing date has been pushed backed two days, to April 18). Protesters marched, calling on President Donald Trump to release his tax returns, saying Americans deserve to know his tax history, his business ties with foreign powers, and conflicts of interest, if any exist.

Trump is the first major-party presidential nominee in more than 40 years to refuse releasing his tax returns, saying that he is under IRS audit – however, there is no law prohibiting him from releasing his own returns in these circumstances. Trump also stated that American voters don’t care; he declared a $916 million loss in 1995, which was, The New York Times reported, “a tax deduction so substantial it could have allowed him to legally avoid paying any federal income taxes for up to 18 years.”

“Thanks to Trump, I think that releasing your taxes when you run for president now has to be a law,” 51-year-old New Yorker Marni Halasa, who arrived in a tutu and leggings made of fake dollar bills and holding a sign that read “Show Me The Money!”, told Reuters.

The nationwide protests, dubbed the Tax March for economic justice, stemmed from the Women’s March that took place a day after Trump’s inauguration. The Tax March, among the largest protests since the Women’s March, unfolded a day after the White House announced that it would end the practice of releasing White House visitor logs, an attempt by Trump (who had promised to ‘drain the swamp’ in Washington) to shield his activities from scrutiny.

The tax returns of presidents and vice presidents are automatically audited every year, and it is totally legal to publish their tax returns. Although there is no legal obligation, U.S. presidents and presidential candidates have released their returns voluntarily for decades.

But Trump – who has repeatedly admitted using legal loopholes to minimize his tax burden – has justified his refusal to publish tax returns by noting they are being audited; however, federal tax authorities say that does not bar him from releasing the documents.

67-year-old Ellen Lodwick, a retired corporate researcher from Maryland, cast doubt on Trump’s businesses:

“There are probably many illegal or questionable investments in things that could affect how he looks at government and legislation, because he’s too connected.”

Why does he want to hide his taxes? That’s what I want to know. He promised transparency; remember ‘Drain the swamp?” 53-year-old Martha Marquez, a graduate school professor who attended the Palm Beach march holding a sign that read “Show Me Yours and I’ll Show You Mine,” told The New York Times.

In Los Angeles, television director Mike Stutz turned up at the march holding a sign that read: “What Tax Returns? Putin paid cash. Trust your oligarchs,” referring to allegations of contacts between Trump’s campaign and Russia, led by President Vladimir Putin.

Chicago Protest: #HandsOffSyria!

Chicago Protest: #HandsOffSyria!

By Samantha Jacobs

On the day following Trump’s bombing of Syria, over 250 people took to the streets of Chicago to say no to war and U.S. imperialism. On April 7, actions to say #HandsOffSyria happened in over 35 cities across the country.

The protest began at Trump Tower. While the crowd was diverse, their message was clear and unified: no new U.S. war of aggression in the Middle East! Ali Hasan from People United Against Oppression, as well as ANSWER Chicago coordinator John Beacham spoke to the crowd about rejecting the lies and war propaganda. They called on the protesters to resist yet another war that uses false pretenses to justify U.S. military actions against sovereign countries. After a short rally, the crowd took to the streets.

Marching down a busy Michigan avenue with signs and chants of “No justice, no peace! U.S. out of the Middle East!” protesters were greeted by onlookers in store fronts and on the street with lot of cheers and great approval.

For decades, spending for health care, education, and jobs have been cut, while war spending continues to increase. The people are fed up and reject more U.S. involvement in the Middle East. The people know that war is not about “spreading democracy” or “humanitarian intervention.” It is about U.S. domination and increasing profits for the richest people in this country.

At the end of the march, protesters rallied again, chanting “From Syria to Palestine, occupation is a crime!” Additional speakers included Andy Thayer of the Gay Liberation Network, Patrick of the Party for Socialism and Liberation and Erica from Worker’s World Party. The speakers addressed the links between all of the people’s struggles, drawing parallels between the struggles of Palestinians, indigenous peoples, and more. Speakers talked about the many contradictions of U.S. foreign policy, regardless of which party is in power. The evening culminated in a passionate display of solidarity against war, racism, and the Trump agenda. On April 7 in Chicago and across the country, the people stood up to say, in no uncertain terms, that there will be no more blank checks for war without our resistance.

The emergency protest on April 7 was organized by ANSWER Chicago and was endorsed by organizations such as People United Against Oppression, the Anti-War Committee Chicago, March 19th Anti-War Coalition and Workers World Party.

Orlando says “Hands off Syria!”

By Dylan Tyer

On April 9, around 50 protesters convened on crowded Lake Eola Park in Downtown Orlando, in an emergency anti-war protest and march. Organized by members of the ANSWER Coalition, the Party for Socialism and Liberation, the UCF student group Knights for Socialism and the Orlando Workers League, the march was very successful in initiating a dialogue among members of the community.

All eyes were on the activists as they garnered attention from all ends of the political spectrum. Many supporters of the Trump regime shouted and swore their disapproval, while church-goers leaving their Palm Sunday mass greeted the protesters with affection and peace signs.

When asked why they had assembled to protest, one organizer exclaimed:

“It is all too similar to the buildup to Iraq. We don’t have all the information, we already killed civilians, including children, in that strike, and no military solution can bring about the kinds of changes necessary for the region to be palatable to Western sensibilities and cultural norms, nor should they have to be. In short, you can’t bomb people into seeing it your way and any further military action by the United States will be used as a recruiting tool for ISIS. ISIS has already taken advantage of the chaos we created with one strike and moved in on the areas surrounding the airstrip.

“War in our time is always indiscriminate, a war on the most vulnerable sectors of society. We consistently kill more civilians than intended targets and then wonder why people are willing to follow any group who promises vengeance on the West. The point of whether this was Assad or not is irrelevant; at this point, he stands between a stable Syria and allowing it to fall into the hands of ISIS. That is the choice we face in reality with regard to Syria.”

Another commented:

“We stand against all imperialist wars. War is for the bankers, the billionaires, and the ruling class politicians. It’s not for our class, the working class. This war is killing people here by depriving them of basic needs and it’s killing people in Syria with the terrorism of illegal war.”

Los Angeles protest demands no war on Syria

Anti-war activists and members of Los Angeles’ Syrian community gathered April 7 to reject Trump’s bombing campaign in Syria. The ANSWER Coalition—in which the Party for Socialism and Liberation is proudly an anchoring organization—convened and organized the demonstration.

The attacks on Syria signal an ominous pledge to continue the endless U.S. wars in the Middle East—something which the anti-imperialist movement gathered last Friday to resist.

This bombing campaign was comparatively sudden relative to the campaigns in Iraq, Libya and the many other countries attacked by the United States. Instead of the months-long demonization campaigns against the country’s leadership, Trump and the Pentagon simply attacked. The move was no doubt calculated in part to minimize the opportunities for a popular movement to build mass opposition to the war; this administration no doubt learned from the lessons of 2013 when the Obama administration had to back down from a war on Syria due to an outpouring of mass opposition.

Los Angeles’ march consequently was as much about resisting U.S. imperialism as it was about the suppression of dissent; though the march and rally themselves were clearly against the bombing and any future U.S. intervention in Syria, the acts of marching and rallying themselves were acts of defiance against the attempts to circumvent popular resistance.

Members of Los Angeles’ sizable Syrian-American community turned out in force. Their presence was felt not only in numbers, but also by their leadership in chanting and their speakers at the beginning and end rallies.

Of course, many other communities also were represented in a true show of solidarity, from the Korean-American community to the Latino/a community—communities which understand intimately the disastrous effects of U.S. interventions on the populations the hawk politicians claim to be “saving.”

As the Trump administration readies for war in Syria and elsewhere around the world, the need for a strong anti-war movement is felt more than ever. Check the ANSWER Coalition’s Facebook page and other social media for future action alerts.

Sarasota protests Trump’s bombing of Syria

By Bryan Ellis

On April 7, 30 demonstrators protested in Sarasota against Trump’s escalated bombing of Syria, joining numerous other protests around the country. They gathered at the “Unconditional Surrender” statute at the bay front, holding signs reading “Endless war for empire” and “War Against Syria: Built on a lie!”

ANSWER Suncoast called the emergency protest in response to Trump’s illegal airstrikes on Al Shayrat Airfield in Homs on Thursday night. The bombing killed 14 people including 9 innocent civilians. Syrians have condemned the bombing as a “criminal act” and “war crime.”

“I came out here to defend Syrian sovereignty against imperialist aggressors,” said protester James Walker. “We gotta get out here and show we mean business. We have to show our solidarity with the Syrian people and their democratically elected leader.”

On the basis of several international agreements, the Syrian government disposed of its chemical weapons in 2014 under the supervision of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons. The move came after a 2013 chemical weapons attack in Ghouta killed hundreds of Syrian civilians. Opposition forces blamed the Syrian government for the attack, but later analysis determined that the rebels were likely responsible.

“I came out today because I oppose the U.S. getting further involved in wars in the Middle East. The number of civilian lives lost is astronomical,” said Aiden Juge, a student at New College of Florida.

“I think the U.S. needs to start withdrawing from the Middle East and possibly work within the U.N. to encourage the people who actually live there to negotiate peace.”

Days before the chemical attack in Idlib, U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson indicated that the U.S. would not seek to remove Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. The opposition, backed by Western imperialist nations and Gulf monarchies, was nearing defeat. The Syrian military would have had little reason to use chemical weapons, however a bombing raid could have set off sarin gas stockpiled by opposition terrorist groups.

I feel like America’s actions regarding the Middle East have been very biased towards our own interests in oil as well as our racist tendencies against Muslims,” said local activist Lemon Reimer.

“We’ve eviscerated that entire region for 20, 30 years,” said Matt Cuffaro, who traveled from Tampa to join the protest.”I think it’s a serious step toward another endless war.”

Regardless of who was behind the chemical attack, all progressives should oppose Trump’s escalated war on Syria. As in Iraq, Libya and elsewhere, “humanitarian intervention” is no more than an excuse for the expansion of Western domination, the overthrow of independent governments and the acquisition of new markets and natural resources. The people of Syria deserve the right to determine their own destiny, free from the meddling of imperialists and foreign-backed terrorists who have for years brought the nightmare of war to Syria.

Violence in Paris Spreads Involving 5 No-Go Areas*

Police in Paris are struggling to cope with the fall-out from a plague of riots which have kicked off in the city’s northern suburbs.

By Siobhan McFadyen

Five large areas have been reduced to no go areas for the past five nights as masked men cause mayhem on the streets.

Now there are fears the fall-out from allegations of police brutality could spread all over the country as unrest in the city grows.

Residents have been on lockdown as armed police tried to tackle the rioters who have caused millions of pounds of damage.

Police were hit with molotov cocktails and the heavy metal balls used in the French game Petanque.

And after setting cars and even a disability vehicle on fire the police have been forced to fire live rounds of bullets.

A reporter for the French TV company BMTV was also injured after being attacked.

The areas of Aulnay-Sous-Bois, Aulnay, Argenteuil, Bobigny and Tremblay-en-France in the Saint-Seine-Denis district have all been affected.

It follows allegations of horrific police brutality in a housing estate called Rose des Vents in Aulnay-Sous-Bois which is also known locally as the ‘city of 3000’.

Local residents and police forces have called the continued unrest “disgraceful” while the man allegedly assaulted by police named only as Theo has pleaded for calm.

Yves Lefebvre head of the police union said: “Setting a wheelchair van on fire is a disgrace. This has to stop.”

The French Government’s response to the latest outbreaks of violence is to put 2,600 cameras on police officers to record them out on the job.

Last night it was claimed rioters shouted ‘Allahu Akbar’ during violent protests in Paris where a car was set on fire.

Front National (FN) MP Marion Le Pen tweeted the amateur video which shows chaotic scenes including of clouds of smoke after cars were set on fire and a man yelling “Allahu Akbar”, Arabic for God is Greatest, three times.

The video shows cars beeping their horns as they try and leave the scene of anarchy with protesters shouting on the street.

The niece of the FN leader Marine Le Pen tweeted: “Rioters yelled “Allah Akbar” in Bobigny yesterday night”.

The video was filmed in Bobigny, which is a suburb of Paris where protesters have clashed with French riot police.

Soros’s Coup Causes Hundreds of Thousands of Fake Protestors Rock Rumania*

From Sean Adl-Tabatabai

Hundreds of thousands of protestors have taken to the streets in Rumania in an attempted coup by George Soros to overthrow the Rumanian government.

Amid chaotic riots across the country, Rumanians geared up for a sixth day of protests on Sunday under the guise of forcing its government to rid the country of corruption – despite the fact the President had already vowed to do so.

According to Alex Balan, President of the Union of Banat Rumanians, the protests are funded and orchestrated by George Soros in an effort to incite violence and overthrow the democratically elected government in order to install a more globalist-friendly regime.

By Alexa Balan

The following is an official statement, in Mr. Balan’s capacity as President of the Union of Banat Rumanians, in Serbia **
Yesterday’s massive demonstrations in Rumania, where around 100,000 people gathered, were sponsored and organized by Soros financed NGO’s in Romania, and by the Soros funded political party, the USR. They were praised and supported by the openly masonic German president of Rumania, Klaus Iohanis, who incited violence and called for a revolution.

This impostor won a rigged election, he is against Rumanian interests and calls for the so-called Europeanization of Rumania. Their excuse for rioting was the judiciary reform laws adopted by the new Socialist government, which are amnesty laws which would halt the political persecution of patriotic anti-globalist politicians in Rumania, at the hands of the CIA and Soros funded anti-corruption agency DNA. These protect the interests of multinational companies, and prosecutes nationalists by indicting them with false charges.

The present Socialist PSD government was elected by an overwhelming majority vote in December, over 50%, on their promises they would halt the further selling of Rumanian resources to foreigners, their anti IMF stance, Eurosceptic views, raising of pensions, eliminating taxes etc. The USR Soros party which led the maidan protest yesterday, only won 8% in the election. They recruited young deluded people over the internet, their aim was to storm the parliament building and seize power. They openly called for the lynching of government officials by publishing their addresses and phone numbers on the net.

Had they not been defeated by our brave police forces in Bucharest yesterday, they would have set up tents and other maidan like structures in the Bucharest city centre, Victoria square, and we all know to where that leads. We, the Rumanians of Serbia condemn the Soros protest and so do the majority of Rumanians in Rumania, and all over the world in our diaspora. My view is shared also by the Serbian Radical Party leader Dr. Seselj, whom I visited today.

Washington Post video reporter Dalton Bennett was pulled back and knocked down by riot police in downtown Washington D.C., while trying to video tape the arrest of dozens of anti-Trump protesters in Washington D.C.

Protesters wearing all black were arrested as part of an unauthorized march by a group calling itself the “Anti-Capitalist, Anti-Fascist Bloc.” According to a online appeal for marchers, the aim of the march was to “join together and demonstrate how to prevent Trump and his cronies from implementing their program.”

While marching south on 13th Street, protesters overturned trash cans and news racks. At one point, they smashed the windows of a parked, unoccupied limousine and threw a flare inside. After the protest turned east on I Street, marchers began smashing the windows of businesses and the screens of ATMs.

Violence Breaks Out In Washington D.C. As Protesters Clash With Police

By Tyler Durden

As the feeds below from Washington demonstrate, the violence is escalating in the form of clashes between protesters and D.C. police. Black-clad activists angry about U.S. President Donald Trump’s inauguration have smashed store car windows and blocked traffic in Washington on Friday and fought with police in riot gear who responded with tear gas and stun grenades.

About 500 people, some wearing masks, marched through the city’s downtown, using hammers to claw up chunks of pavement to smash the windows of a Bank of America branch and a McDonald’s outlet, all symbols of the American capitalist system.

The crowd chanted anti-Trump slogans and carried signs with slogans including “Make Racists Afraid Again,” a play on the New York businessman-turned-politician’s “Make America Great Again” campaign slogan. The incident occurred about 90 minutes before Trump was sworn in at the Capitol a mile and a half (2.4 km) away.

According to Reuters, Washington police made “numerous” arrests on Friday after violent protests during Donald Trump’s inauguration, with individuals being charged with rioting, the city’s police department said. “Pepper spray and other control devices were used to control the criminal actors and protect persons and property,” the department said in a statement. The statement added that two police officers had sustained minor injuries from “coordinated attacks” and that police vehicles were damaged.

Two police officers sustained minor injuries from people who were trying to avoid arrest, police said.

“The message I want to send is that Trump does not represent this country. He represents the corporate interests,” said Jessica Reznicek, a 35-year-old Roman Catholic aid worker from Des Moines, Iowa, who was part of the protest but did not participate in the violence.

Not far from the White House, protesters scuffled with police, at one point throwing aluminum chairs at an outdoor café. Bob Hrifko, a member of the “Bikers for Trump” group in town to celebrate the inauguration, was struck in the face when he tried to intervene.

“I know, law and order and all that. We need more order. This ain’t right,” said Hrifko, who was bleeding from a cut under his eye.

Trump supporters Chris and Karen Korthaus, who carried a life-size cardboard cutout of the former reality TV star, crossed paths with an anti-Trump crowd.

“A protester came over and ripped off the Don’s head,” Karen Korthaus said as she showed a reporter a video of the incident.

“We ran to a pizza shop and taped his head back on”.

Carl Beams, 36, from Howell, New Jersey, stood in line with thousands of other Trump supporters waiting to enter the National Mall to view the inauguration.

Last night we noted that anti-Trump protesters had their first confrontation with police as American’s violent, disaffected youth threw eggs at guests and set fires outside of Trump International Hotel as people attempted to make their way to the new administration’s “Deploraball.”  But with the inauguration now over, protesters are showing no signs of slowing down as chaotic scenes of rioters destroying private property are flooding twitter.

Washington D.C. Turned Into “Virtual Fortress” As 250,000 Protesters Descend Upon the City*

By Tyler Durden

Over the past couple of days, we’ve highlighted a couple of the mass protests that are being planned by disaffected Hillary supporters in an effort to disrupt the various Trump inaugural events that get kicked off tomorrow evening.  Perhaps the most aggressive “disruptions” have been planned by groups called “DisruptJ20” and the “DC Anti-Fascist Coalition” and include plans to “paralyze the city” with “clusterfuck blockades” of bridges and tunnels, “stink bombs” in ventilation systems and chaining metro trains to station platforms to shut down rail traffic.  Unfortunately for them, all of their plans were caught on tape by Project Veritas (see “New Video Exposes Anti-Trump Groups Plotting Criminal Acts To Disrupt Inauguration“) so we suspect police will be well prepared.

As Reuters points out this morning, efforts to disrupt the inaugural process will have to evade a massive force of 28,000 security personnel and miles of fencing and roadblocks fortified by sand-laden dump trucks and other heavy equipment.

Washington will turn into a virtual fortress ahead of Donald Trump’s presidential inauguration on Friday, as the U.S. capital braces for more than a quarter-million protesters expected during the Republican’s swearing-in.

About 28,000 security personnel, miles (kilometres) of fencing, roadblocks, street barricades and dump trucks laden with sand will be part of the security cordon clamped around 3 square miles (almost 8 square km) of central Washington.

“If we do have a mass arrest, we’ll be able to get people processed very quickly,” he said in an interview with Washington’s NBC 4 television station.

And, if America’s millennial snowflakes are able to break through the police fortress they will undoubtedly be met by the Wall of Meat recently promised by the “Bikers for Trump” group which has vowed to go “toe-to-toe with anyone that is going to break through any police barriers.”

Overall, the inauguration is expected to draw a crowd of 900,000 with 250,000 of those guests showing up to protest the new President-elect.

Police have forecast that some 900,000 people, both supporters and opponents, will flood Washington for the inauguration ceremony, which includes the swearing-in on the steps of the U.S. Capitol and a parade to the White House along streets thronged with onlookers.

About 30 groups that organizers claim will draw about 270,000 protesters or Trump backers have received permits for rallies or marches before, during and after the swearing-in. More protests are expected without permits.

By far the biggest protest will be the Women’s March on Washington on Saturday, which organizers expect to draw 250,000 people.

Luckily, at least one helpful protest group will be on hand with plans to calm down the rowdy masses by passing out 4,200 doobies.

One Washington inaugural protest will come amid a haze of pot smoke as pro-marijuana protesters show their opposition to Trump’s choice for attorney general, Alabama Republican Senator Jeff Sessions, a critic of pot legalization.

The group plans to distribute 4,200 joints at the inauguration and urge attendees to light up. Possession of small amounts of marijuana is legal in Washington, but public consumption is not.

As we’ve said before, we wish all the protesters the best of luck…we’re sure your dreams of disrupting the democratic process will be well rewarded with a free night’s stay at a local DC jail.
